Hello fellow and future troopers. I have been away a bit, due to me enrolling in online courses for college. I have decided to go back and earn a Bachelor's Degree in History. I had to do a ton of paperwork, and make lots of phone calls. I was accepted into a University out of Nebraska. I'm about 3 weeks into my first class, and feel that I have been in a decent groove balancing work, school, and everyday life. I'm looking forward to catching up on what has been going on here on the forums.

Welcome. There are some great videos on youtube on weathering too. Mike from Trooperbay put out a fun one with a helmet.

In my humble opinion the Ab Plate buttons could use a little trimming. Great build though.

Welcome and have fun on your journey. I have an Anovos OT Kit as well. It was my first, and only build so far, but it was a great experience. There are some awesome build threads as Tony has mentioned earlier. The group of people here are second to none, and always ready to help out.

I did the same thing. I was so stoked to get approved that I bought a pair of Funtasma boots. I ended up dishing out more money for accurate boots a few months ago.

Good morning everyone. I am going to start making mods to my armor to apply for Centurion and had a few questions.
First, I know there should be no return edges at the wrist. One of my forearms has two ridges, while one has only one.
I used the image from my EIB Certification for reference. Should I trim out the spot the arrow is pointing to?
Next, I know there should be no seams where the shims are on my back plate. I was going to make an ABS paste and fill them, but I was able to purchase a spare backplate from another armor maker. My concern is the color between the two.
I know it’s probably hard to tell in the picture, but do you think the colors are okay?
Your thoughts and advice are greatly appreciated.

Welcome. I agree with everyone as building to Centurion from the get go isn’t much more difficult, just requires a little homework. Check out the CRL and recently approved EIB and Centurion applications to get an idea of what to do. Have fun and good luck on your build.

Imperialboots.com is a good alternative but only open once a month for a limited time to take orders. Then close to fulfill them. I believe they are open now. You may want to follow the instructions on that website to get a good fit.
On the holster, look under the softgoods section. There should be info there
on holster dimensions.

Congratulations on your approval. Welcome to the ranks.

Sorry for the loss of your friend. He would probably be very happy knowing that you are doing something that he would have enjoyed, in honor of him. Like other troopers have mentioned earlier, your are in good hands here, and willing to help when you are ready.
