  1. ADDITIONAL INFO: How to form TD belt clips from 1/16" aluminum bars from Lowes. http://tkarmor.blogspot.com/2016/07/td-clips-anh.html Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  2. Oh, I thought pinning meant it was closed. NM then I'm just waiting for the diet to kick in. LOL Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Is it a sticky yet? It's 117 pages right now, I'm waiting for it to be LockedDownForLife. Plus, I'm still too "ChunkyMonkey" for Centurion. LOL My goal timing is to lose at least 5 inches around my ab after the thread is a sticky. My thighs should reduce at the same rate. I'm already in as level 1 so it's not like I'm on a big timetable. 4. I have not built my kit yet. I'm waiting on two things: UKswrath's build post to conclude and become a sticky, and my (diet) weight/size to level out. LOL Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  5. My FISD re-build post did. CRXPanda's Rebuild Thread http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?/topic/30780-CRXPanda%27s-Rebuild-Thread My knee plate was cracked on my FC armor. I used white fingernail acrylic powder and liquid. I have had to wear artificial nails for almost 20 years, because I don't grow mine naturally. I follow the same technique, the armor is just a "really big nail tip" http://tkarmor.blogspot.com/2015/04/sniper-plate-crack-white-acrylic-nail.html You can also use something called SOLAREZ, it is a UV curing surfboard filler, but it takes more prep and technique than nail powder and liquid to make it look proper. Can you post a picture of the crack? Nail tips are made of many types of plastic. FX is ABS http://www.diffen.com/difference/ABS_vs_PVC
  6. I think this has been an issue for a long time. I got 2nd hand FX armor and had to break apart my shins because of this "inventory flaw". Some people's legs are shaped in a way where the shins fit either way, but if you have "runners' legs" with a larger calf muscle, the wrong sides connected can be a game changer. 7. Yes, the mesh fell out in the box. Everything is sticky back velcro and, as I read on another thread, seems they didn't clean the ABS properly before affixing. Also, from some first wave builders' threads-- I agree the eye holes need some tidying, so as they mentioned...so I will most likely UNDO and REDO (Which I did to my rebuild last year, so not my first rodeo.) 8. Starting the thread. Arrived 1:30pm 1/27/2016 Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  9. I have fans, mic system and wires to a walkie talkie (not yet field tested). I'll post pics once I get those pesky wires to stay in place. LOL I'm not into permanent attachment, so I'm still working on a solution. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Sorry. I've been on other projects and work (and fighting the flu). No field test as of yet. Have a small library troop on 10-10, will update then. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  16. Got email from GML all good except buttons too big. I never rechecked the validity of the ab plate, aside from cutting the cod and repainting the buttons it came with, I left it as is. Got 7/16" buttons tonight. Waiting on paint to dry. I have to take action pics and retake just the front pics according to GML. Tick tock .... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. niceEshop 12 Volt 2 Amp Inline PWM Dimmer for LED Strips with DC Jack,Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004T9ITQ0/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_l8aGvbX5K96BAI was thinking about going this route if I used the 12v LIon battery.
  18. The fans are not flat. I'm using the hovi tip rods to hold only one corner (thumb nuts are what you see on the end). The white plastic in the center is repurposed sale sign for the switch only.
  19. I have two 1 inch 12v Radio Shack fans running parallel this way. I have two types of power options: 9 volt quick change and 12v lithium ion (closed circuit cam backup) battery. The 9v gives me 5 or so hours of constant (I tested and it was running at the 5 hr mark, then I stopped paying attention.) I haven't measured the L-Ion yet, but the fans are Turbo Boost when it's connected. You can hear the fans so I'm probably going to use the 12v pack for the liquid cooling pack I'm putting in my back plate and neck seal.[emoji209] [emoji6] [emoji89] There is a switch on the battery pack located on the back of the bucket, and another here between the fans. This way the fans can be turned on and off easily, also all connections are male/female 5.5mm x 2.1mm power connectors -easy to unplug and swap battery packs if needed.
  20. Hopeful Final http://tkarmor.blogspot.com/2015/06/hopeful-final.html
  21. yeah. it's basically watered down Elmer's glue
  22. I have it. It's latex based with water cleanup. I used it for my foam. I had to spray both parts, let dry, then spray once and stick together. It works on my arm foam, we'll see how good the sniper plate foam stays (I have a bum kneecap so I put some thin white foam on the inside).
  23. Yup. I had to repair the sniper's cracks again. They got bigger when I heated it. White nail fill worked but you could easily see the difference in whites, so I chose to paint.
