Your progress looks great! Well done on all the pieces.
The only thing I notice is that the shoulder bridges don't come down as far as I think they need to. What I've seen on most armor is you count 4.5-5 ridges back, and line that up with the edge of the shoulder parts on the chest piece.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

And remember that you can stack magnets for extra pull.
^ This! I ended up stacking magnets often to get a really solid grip.

Use the brush! It's so much easier to apply and you don't have to worry about overspray.

I'm 5'8" 180lbs and I've got TM. It fits great; the only parts I had to shim were the thighs, which is unusual. Most people our size won't need to shim anything.

A number of people in my garrison have the new TFA TK armor, and I really dig it. I was wondering if there's any word on when it's going to be available to others? I saw the helmet on sale on the Anovos site, but nothing about the whole set.

I've heard quality is great for the products they've sold. If you're asking because you want to order their TK kit, most of us are very curious as to how the quality will be; however, we're optimistic it'll be on par with the vetted sellers on FISD.

Joseph is right on. You'll definitely want to build the armor to fit your body, or else you take the chance of it looking wrong. Pieces won't fit just right (openings might be too big/small, strapping to long/short, etc) and you'll notice, especially next to a suit that fits right.
Also, AM armor is probably the best suit for your size. Send him a PM and get on that waiting list.
While you are waiting you can start sourcing the other parts, like tools, strapping, under suit, boots, etc.

I love seeing TM builds. This one is going quite well.
That's a LOT of e-6000 you're using for your cover strips. You don't need that much, that stuff will hold with dabs along the center. Gaz gave me a suggestion for gluing that helped: draw a pencil line on the cover strip where you want to put the glue, and make it a few MM from the edge. That way you don't have all that stuff squishing out.

Not yet. I live in the Chicago area, and you send all your cold air here from November to May!
This will be my first winter as a TK, so I'm going to experiment with what works for warmth.

Amazon. Their prices for compression tops and bottoms fluctuate, but if you keep an eye out you can get a top/bottom combo for $30, or thereabouts. Mine are Russel Athletic, but brand doesn't matter. Trooping doesn't put much strain on an under suit.

I rode sportbikes for quite a while, and A* gear is great.
There's nothing wrong with the top/bottoms you posted, as long as the logo is covered. I'm just wondering why you would want to pay so much ($160 for both) when you can get the exact same thing for $30.

First time I've heard of that site. The under-suits look fine, if you want a one-piece. Price isn't bad, but I'm not sure how much compression shirts/pants go for in the UK. I got mine for about $30 on Amazon.
The neck seals look ok, but the backs might not be high enough. If you look at a Darman neck seal you'll see it goes up pretty high in the back; which ensures no skin or hair is visible with your helmet on.

Yeah, you don't want much weight on your noggin. I did the plasti-dip/cheese cloth combo and it add a bit of weight, just enough to give the helmet a feel of real-ness and not just a plastic prop. AFAIK the cheese cloth doesn't do anything for strength, but it gives the inside a cool texture that looks very similar to the inside of kevlar helmets used by our military.

#5 is also wrong. The trench they fly into for the final battle isn't the one at the equator. That one is the big one with hangar bays where the MF flies into. The trench at the end of ANH is on the northern hemisphere.
And did you guys notice the shot of Mr No Stripes in the article? The author is talking about ESB, but that screen shot is from ANH, right after Mr. No Stripes shoots Leia with a stun shot. This guy gets paid to write this junk?
