Thank you for the great topic how to get the Anovos kit more acurate. Unfortunately I found no hints for the helmet mic tip. In the original costume and the packaging the mic tip is pointing forward. The mic tip of the Anovos helmet is pointing down. Is it a production failure? Have you modified your Anovos mic tips?

Here is the inner life of my helmet: Sources: Helmet: Troopermaster Sound Module: Rom/Fx Classic Kit Speakers: ukswrath mic tip speakers Padding: 7 Condor II Helmet Pads Mouting: The rom/fx module and the classic kit microphone are mounted with gaffa tape. The battery boxes as well as the cables are mounted with velcro to enable a stressless battery change. As the 8 AA batteries cause an imbalance I mounted 2 iron nut weights as counterbalance under the lenses with velcro. The mic tip speakers are mounted with the arranged plastic screws. The screws have channels for the audio cables. For a comfortable fitting 7 Condor II helmet pads are mounted with velcro. Ich durfte zum Glück vor einem halben Jahr einen Hero und Stunt Helm probetragen. Für mich waren die bombierten Augenlinsen im Hero Helm der wichtigste Unterschied. Durch die flachen Stunt Folien kann man um einiges besser sehen als durch die bombierten Hero Linsen. In entschied mich daher für den ANH Stunt.

My name is Thomas, as described in the Austria thread I'm from Lower Austria which lies around Vienna. 1999 it seems I got healed from my Star Wars addiction. 2012 I watched the Star Warriors documentation on the Star Wars Blu Ray Set. I was at once very impressed by the 501st and their preparation for the rose parade. This year brought me back to Star Wars. In the same year Sheldon built his Lego Death Star, so I've been double Star Wars infected. In 2 years the whole house have been moved in the Star Wars universe: In June 2014 the time had come: At my 30th birthday I decided to take the next step for a professional Star Wars costume. I contacted the Austrian Outpost and got very friendly and professional support from Bernhard and Edi. Now after 7 months I'm shortly before my ANH Stunt armour. I always read mountains mountains mountains. Big parts of Austria are flat. I come from the wine quarter in lower Austria (next to Vienna). We're famous for white wine (Grüner Veltliner DAC which is famous for his pepper flavour), wine cellars (next to my village there is the biggest wine cellar in middle europe), pumpkin festivals and Blasmusik. You don't know what Blasmusik is? - here it is: You like white wine and stay in Vienna? - let me know. 50min from Vienna you can taste different white wine sorts and eat "a gscheite Bretljausn" (brown bread, bacon, emmentaler, smoked meat with mustard and horseradish).

Klettverschlüsse am schwarzen Anzug annähen sollte ich mir der Unterstützung meiner Frau schaffen.
