Yes, definitely sight seeing for sure. Also planning a day trip to Forks (for the GF) and another day trip to Astoria, OR (where they filmed Goonies). Huge Goonies fan!

Looks great! First troops are the ones that stick with you.

Hi Garrison Titan crew... I'll be visiting family in Seattle late June this year and wanted to see if there were any cons or gatherings that might be happening. I know I'll miss the big con, but even if some Garrison Titan folks want to get together for a beer or some food, that would be super cool. I'll be planning an outing to the SW costume exhibit while there as well. Hope to meet some new friends from the Northwest!

CM are my initials and I drive a 1990 BMW 325i... not very exciting.
I've always wanted my nickname IRL to be "The Zec" (from the movie Jack Reacher) Last 3 letters of my last name plus it sounds cool.

I was thinking this same thought. I have always been under the thought that AM was for larger troopers. So if AM 2.0 still is for larger troopers then is your friend a bigger trooper Caleb? Have you looked at other options if he isn't? If you were going for a fit like NE then wouldn't you be looking for something more screen derived?
AM 2 can fit larger troopers, but can also be trimmed down to fit almost any size body. I have this kit built to EIB. I love it. If you want a sturdy kit for trooping (and screen accuracy isn't super important), I recommend it for the price and availability.

the sole may not work out
- Boots are above ankle height and made of white leather or leather-like material.
- Small U-shaped elastic sections on both sides of the ankle.
- Flat sole with a short heel.
- No buckles or laces.
- Jodhpur/ Chelsea-type boots or an equivalent style is acceptable.
- Elvis or Mariachi boots are not allowed.

the belt is the last thing you want. do not buy your belt first.
wait until you have your armor.
This... I had to buy an extra belt because the "add 16 inches" thing didn't work for me.

I put velcro on the clip tabs so that they basically get sandwiched in between the canvas belt ends. Gotta remove the belt to get the TD off.

Welcome! Always great to get new troopers on board down here in SA. As Tim said, lots of great info on here and be sure to look up the local crew on FB.

Hey Tommy! glad you found your way here. Lots and lots of valuable information on these boards. Just keep reading and ask questions. And obviously your local crew will be around to help.

It's not just FX... I've actually been told that my AM armor is cr@p. So has another future member who isn't finished yet. Unfortunately you encounter people like this in any area of interest, not just 501st.

Sometimes people will separate the cod from the rest of the ab plate. The seam is hidden under the belt and might make it easier to sit. I've actually been thinking about doing this. Example here.

that's awesome!!

do stores carry novus or is it online only?
I got a 3 pack kit at the Container Store.
