  1. Glad you like it aswell Ser. Had a message from RPF from someone, asking if i had a real photo . This person thought it was a render photo (that sure say's something) Then another PM quickly followed (ohhh that is a real picture ) Hope one day, i can make it as nice, or close to like yours And thnx again Vern, for the tip
  2. I'll see what i do on the go ... Want to collect all parts first, and thinking about your offer... i'm not sure if they make these big parts in metal, Aldo having them greeblies that sit behind the door greeblie ''MGC Hammers'' would be a nice thing to have accurate metal printed.
  3. I'm not gone sand it or tumble it with polishing medium.. Don't want to risk it getting broken, as it is printed in several layers. (it's firm as a whole allright, but don't want to risk it) The picture is almost macro.... i guess i could say that it doesn't have the same texture as some of you are familar with in 3d resin prints. Guess a simple black paint spray on it will make it nice and flat. It weights 23grams, and i got the matte black steel version. Absolutely love it..
  4. It's here 3D metal printed door greeblie : lot's of detail...
  5. Door greeblie made by shapeway's 3d printed in metal status : Your order was shipped on June 30th, 2016! Hope it's good.
  6. I think you ment this site. http://www.geocities.ws/psarms/SALiterature/SA-9mmWeaponsBrochure.pdf They list the same scope rail as i've showed The door greeblie is being made atm.. Thanks Vern, for the suggestion. I'll let you, and others know how it turned out when it arrivés, in this thread.
  7. There aint no others for a MK4 Sterling. ''Aldo'' Sterling worked quite closely with Singlepoint for a time, and experimented with several different mountings of the Singlepoint sight. However, the combination was never marketed by Sterling. Nor does it look alike what you might think that sit's on a MGC.
  8. I don't think they are the same, Took some quick picture's No worries Lightbringer, if i can find a MGC, i'm sure i can find a scope ring sooner or later Sterling didn't have these scope rails untill the (around 80's) with matching holes in the reciever tube. ''Semi auto firing models ''wise lite arms''
  9. Just ordered the door greeblie... It's a start Let's find out how this goes ''Lichtbringer'' You aint happen to have a spare ring ?
  10. The person who said it was a Rb17 is Boba Dept from RPF. So what part is it ? Where does one find one. But he also said. ''Yes, this style used to be sold under many brand names such as but not limited to NCStar, Tasco, Simmons, Baska, etc. NCStar recently re-issued them and I thought they would be around longer. had I know they were going to discontinue them I would have bought enough to do a couple future runs'' So euhmmm where do i find the correct part ?
  11. There are different types of scope rings ''Modern'' and ''old'' Both RB17 I got this info from a RPF member, that is desperetly searching for any source (me included ofc) So, while i'm not 100% certain myself ... i based my knowledge on the scope ring of this member who seems to know what hé's talking about. Afaik, like i said ... still lurlking in the dark , and open to knowledge and input. Still need the basic ''how's'' on the MGC for that mather. I'm not 100% certain... and got cash in my pocket to spent ''haha'' Just want to make a nice rotj blaster, like i did my ANH thanks to FISD members. Hoping the same for this project. ''I aint the expert''
  12. Did some research yeah, but nothing that i allready knowed, untill i started this thread. Still lurking in darkness.
  13. Some nice looking blasters out there
  14. No i havn't... Will do now actually It's a NcStar RB-17 correct ? (feel free to help me find one) ''It is a medium profile 1” scope ring with a 3/8” clamp designed for 22lr rifles and paint ball guns'' I love it Thank you for the clear detailed picture
  15. Well, i got the first part in Took the rear sight off, and putted the un-needed parts in a ziplock bag. That's one thing of the many other greeblies i can mark off the list. Appriciate the help thus far. More help, is more then welcome
  16. Good good Should be here tomorrow ''Fast ey'' Now for the rest of the greeblies ....
  17. You don't say I love them allready.. Thnx to The5thHorseman for pointing it out. I would be glad with one alone.. What i do like very much, is that once the rear sight is gone, it looks like you can make it look like a jaba's blaster with out that taken away piece right ? So do all of these models carry the same rear sight? Or is there difference in between them apart from color ? I remember somewere reading, that Umarex made these aswell ? Wich is a German company. Can't wait to see what i'm dealing with ... it comes with 500 shooting thingy's ... Not even sure what it is or how they look I'm just really opping for that rear sight, but a Jaba blaster is a nice bonus. It will be a nice addition...
  18. Well that didn't take long.. Found one for 50 euro, and will be here shortly. Will make some pic's when it's here ... And so it begins
  19. This is the correct one right ?
  20. Well, not much is happening atm from the persons i've contacted thus far .. Bobadebt from RPF is now backing out so it seems. (vague e-mails) So i'm still looking for parts.
  21. I need a bucket for my drooling Can't find a single flaw... wich is good ofcourse Don't you just love the looks of it i know i do... It made me buy books, and i'm not the book type kind.
  22. Awesome JKNO, thank you for guiding me in a direction.. I was able to get in contact with him, and working things out atm... The parts would take ''a couple of months''. But that's ok i could play with some other parts in the meantime, and dip my head into info about this particulair blaster. Cheers, Sergiu.. Will keep you posted on FB, or here..
  23. I think i've contacted the ones mentioned allready ... but they all seem bizzy Surely i'm not giving up hope... So every bit of help is appriciated.. Made some more picture's for those who like to see it.. The inner parts will arive shortly. -----------
  24. Hi all watching this... So i want to build a nice ROTJ E-11 Blaster.. I'm starting with a good base, wich is a mgc.. Now it is in very good condition, and i would like to keep it that way. So i'm gone work with strong Neodymium magnets to attach the greeblies. (they come in all sizes and strenght, and was blown away by andy's power cylinders magnets) And creating a look to it like it's stuck on there with them pop nails for the T-tracks for example. Same i will be doing with the Scope rail. ''Drill holes under it, and insert some nice strong magnets flush. Euhmm, so where do i start with greeblies ? Ofc, having a aluminium scope rail, and perhaps some more metal parts, are more then welcome
  25. I will change tthe first post to unlimited pic Nice blaster btw!
