Trooper since 11/2018, beginning with the Great Lakes Garrison (Michigan, USA), and now the MidSouth Garrison (Tennessee, USA). Just did my 110th troop (officially - I've done several "off duty" troops). I'd like to request the badge for my 100th troop. This is the link to my troop log - pictures are screenshots of a PowerPoint I am putting together to display at Cons.
Congrats Ron, updated.

ATA on Facebook is currently unavailable, we are waiting on an update as the molds for this were sold at auction after the sad passing of the owner.
Imperial surplus are currently delayed in orders due to family emergency until further notice.
DA will be your best for EU currently, otherwise as suggested the UK has several makers also including RWA which many are very happy with. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1865574590327448
Galactic Armory tends to be a 3D file creator, selling his files across many newer costumes and weapons.
Currently we have them on a vendor list for the Imperial commando only.

Hi Justin,
You could reach out to other vendors to see who can supply you a TD, AP does extra parts some times as does Mike from MTK. You can find their details in our vetted armorers list HERE
I wouldn't worry too much about trying to get an Anovos one specifically. if they run out of stock. Something to also be mindfull of is the fact that even products from the same vendors can have colour variations based on the batches of plastic. Even in the case of the Anovos, a different batch may yield a slightly different colour. Don't let that concern you unless it is drastically diiferent.
Also different sized Thermal Dets do not inhibit in any way your approval for OT TK's
Haberdashery stores are great for getting all the snaps, elastic and nylon webbing for strapping.
As to the rubber gloves, definitely needed for Centurion, and if you intend to troop in them, get some cheap white cotton gloves to wear under them, they make a world of difference.
Some love to troop as accurate as possible and take pride in their achievement of reaching our highest level, sure, it's not for everyone but you do have options to keep it comfortable.
Personally I purchased my under suit off ebay, it was a cheap option and has lasted me 9 years and over 90 troops with only minimal wear in some areas. Best $35 I ever spent.
As mentioned, research is the key to happy building and trooping, good luck with your journey, we are here to help.

Congratulations Christian, welcome to the ranks.
Dont for get we have 2 additional levels of accuracy you can aim for, Expert Infantry and Centurion.
These are purely optional, but EI doesn't take much work to be achieved, and looking at your armour, you may already qualify.

Nice trimming and good shape and taper of the thigh to the shin.
Great wok Brendan, just remember the outer half of the shin is the side you will mount the rear cover strip to so it overlaps the inner half.

A sneak peek at how the CRL will look, Only helmet section complete ATM, but once all taxt is adjusted I'll share that for in house review.

Hi Mike,
I saw your post on social media today, looking really nice. Excited to see this complete.

Wiki Document is created for this CRL, next we need to get the descriptive text down.
It is based off the Rogue One CRL so each section doesn't need a full rewrite just modification so we have the colours, shape of markings and weathering to work through.
I also have some of the images from Honey Mustard and have started cutting them from the backgrounds. This is time consuming so if anyone is happy to do a draft of the descriptive wording for this, that will be of great assistance and we can get this CRL to the LMO team in a shorter time frame.

We already have everything we need, and will be looking at this again in due course.
Currently I am building platforms for 4 new to legion costumes, so CRL work is where I am spending my time over the next few months.

Congratulations Cormac, one of us, one of us!!

I can add that in no problem. As all things this is only a first draft to make sure it looked different at a glance with the other wiki origin docs I have ready and waiting for photos and language.
I'll make the change when I'm back home from a work regional trip on Wednesday.
I shall add that to the context section, so it is clear.

As we have more interested in building this costume, hopefully we can finally get this one over the line.

We are the same, everything is done on the forums, them we refine it and the wiki is created from that.
Legion limits access to wiki origin docs so you cant have multiple people longed in to the one doc and editing at the same time. in that case someones work doesn't get saved or is erased.
Me announcing the Wiki document is set up, is making everyone aware i have the back end part of CRL construction ready to go and add info and the most important images required to make it all a reality.
Generally we either have a member who is working on the costume start creating or modifying an exiting CRL text which is common here with many of our costumes very much the same. It boils down to creating language for the differences like colour, capes, weapons etc. They do this in theri thread and we all work together on getting it right.
The other is we already have a research thread running and we work to bring the CRL together in that thread.
Cardinal is of TFA era so we have a TFA CRL as the base to work off.
This particular thread is just pointing out the new DN helmet and how we are kinda disappointed that they don't follow timelines correctly. Yeah we are all geeks and that sets off our OCD lol.
In cardinals instance we also have a thread that's been running since 2017, so no need to create another discussion thread for the CRL just add anything you need or wish to discuss in the thread i have linked below.
Much easier to have everything we need in one place.
Hope this is of help to you Dustin

Awesome Chad, you will be back to a trooping TK in no time.
-
Sounds good Dustin.
The CRL wiki document is ready, we just need to hash out the descriptive text and of course the all important photos.
based off the TFA TK most of that text will remain, with the obvious additions to transform it into Cardinal.

- An affordable maker for us in Indonesia is ATA, but it's very unfortunate that the latest information he has stopped production (if ATA is available again it will really help us here)
Sadly Terrel, the maker of ATA armour passed away, his moulds were up for auction so we are currently unsure if the armour will be produced again.
We can only hope the purchaser is willing to uphold the ATA legacy.

Good Lord, why cant they just make up their minds and stick to the original time lines!!
To the average cos player it probably makes no difference but to Legion where we do our darnedest to follow the movise and time lines as depicted by the artists and writers, this is just a headache.

*The neck closure is black, it is mounted on top with two silver rivets and has two silver snaps visible.
*There is a black elastic strap that runs from back to front and is worn under the bicep to hold the Pauldron in place. The strap is conned to the Pauldron on top by two black snaps inlayed in black “D” shaped leather or leather-like ends.
*The underside of the Pauldron is white or black regardless of top color and is divided with white or black stitching into 3 segments. The entire outside edge is finished with black piping and the underside of the neck closure is black.||}}
