  2. Been offline for a while. Got a lot done. I've been looking for the post of how to attach the armor belt to the canvas belt with snaps. No luck. Any help is appreciated. I'll post pics as soon as I get a new computer. I think I know, but would like to double check.
  3. Cover strips.. 15mm arms, 20mm legs, 25mm back of shins? I know I saw it on here but can't find it again. Thanks.
  4. No. I'm going to use cover strips. I just haven't trimmed the ends yet. Just wanted to line them up to see how they looked before cutting any more.

  7. Shins are killing me. They match up in the front, but off by an inch in the back. Guess I'm gonna have to do some bending. I'll post pics tomorrow.
  8. Here's my T/mc lid. Must of got a better pull on it. My thickness is at 0.080.
  9. Did some sanding on the pieces i have trimmed. The "tabs" for joining need to be cut back, but i wanted to hold off and see how i did on my first cuts. Here are some pics.
  10. Started trimming on the biceps. Finally made my first cuts!! A little sanding to do in the morning and then ill post some pics and see what you all think. Just happy to get the ball rolling.
  11. I bought from a vetted seller and that was how it was labeled. They said there were some changes so maybe that's the MK II. My advisor in our garrison has the same armor, the older version, and so that's what I got. Now I just got to get started. A little overwhelming opening that box.
  12. Here we go. Got the box. And a look at some inside. Trimmimg to start this weekend. Be ready for the many questions to come.
  13. Mine is a long story that I'll make into a short story. I played guitar in a band called "One Step Behind" in the late 90's. We went by OSB, to most of our fans. Everyone in the band had a nickname. Me being Jeremy, turned into Jer-boy, ended up J-dawg. So now I go with band name and band nickname. Osbjdawg.
