  1. Yeah me too, can't get enough. Flags of our Fathers was very taking, only regret that I saw it on a tiiiny screen on a flight. If you haven't seen it yet I recommend Das Boot, unless you are claustrophobic . And the new movie Defiance isn't too bad either. Another good recent German movie, not WWII but cold war drama Das Leben der Anderen (The lives of others). I've also got some older ones on DVD, such as The Bridge at Remagen, Stalag 17, The Big Red One (with Mark Hamill nonetheless), Morituri (Marlon Brando and Yul Brunner trying to outshine each other ) SPR, what movie is that?
  2. Dear Sir, I humbly request to receive 501st member access. http://www.501stlegion.org/members/display...php?userID=8400 Sincerely, Erlend Storset TK-8605 Nordic Garrison EDIT: Thanks! I mistakenly thought I had access all along
  3. I also got rejected on my first try, I felt so discouraged I didn't reapply until half a year later. Silly me. But don't worry, you'll make it in time for our next event!
  4. Prayers sent Nice looking MR! A (future) member of our garrison has modded one as well, it looks waaay better than my FX. BTW, ever thought of doing a prequel Obi-Wan? ;-)
  5. At the last sci-fi con I attended a civilian was wandering about in the rubies. What you immediately notice is the way too small chest armor, but that's the least of it. When we lined up in the center of the hall and had a photo-shoot, the rubies civvie snuck up beside us. Luckily, a supporter spotted him and chased him off. Feel sorry for him. One of our troopers commented on the lousy quality, he felt insulted and his friend came over and gave us an earful.
  6. If you don't choose TM, consider the RT-mod before FX. The ab and back plates on the RT are bigger than the FX, and will less likely leave a gap. From what I hear, RT is good for taller people. This thread for more info:--------------- Hope to see you on troop in ze future
