We'll see how my GMO reacts. I've just had contact with the GXO... And he does not approve the color of the trim, my helmet and shoulder bells. It has been some time since I updated this thread so here we go! I am still having troubles with my membership. And I redid some elastic strapping to fit me more. I don't know what got into me, but I put my suit in yesterday and just walked through my town. It is quite comfortable to wear while walking, but my sides keep popping up and it's getting quite hot inside the bucket (still waiting on a reply for my fans). And then something happened I was not expecting. A car stopped besides me while I was walking and the woman inside wanted to take a photo with ME! That was totally awesome! I will update you if there's anything new about my membership, but anyway, have a nice day everyone! Cheers Felix

Yup, you're right. I'm working on it. To close the color-case: It's the ethyl alcohol, or better the ingredients that make it undrinkable. I'll sand the edges and clean them again just with water. Sent from the shield generator on Endor

I used ethyl alcohol to clean glue remainings. Keeping that in mind and reading, that this liquid is capable of etching some plastics, it seems plausible. I don't know the difference between "Waschbenzin" and "Spiritus" in English, but I can definately say that I did not use white spirit. Used this for cleaning signs and cars all the time, so I suggested, there wouldn't be a problem... Sent from the shield generator on Endor

A quick question, not really related to the build. Is it normal for ABS to turn brownish at some edges? I discovered that on my shoulder bells and on some spots of biceps and forearms. What could this cause? Sent from the shield generator on Endor

Yes, I see the shoulder bells. This happens when you do not strap the arms and try to hold a forearm in place. No, they are really that big for my body, but look right when correctly strapped. As said, arms and thighs were not glued to that date Sent from the shield generator on Endor

Taking the (hopefully) last steps. The arms are going to be glued afterwards, so are the thighs. I think I am going to leave some more room between ab/croth plate and the thighs. Some things need to be fixed/done: - padding the thighs to make them rotate more - padding the biceps - paint the buttons (unfortunately the colors haven't arrived, yet) - think of a proper solution for these shins Let me know, what you think of it Gotta hurry to finish it this week, otherwise I won't be able to accompany the GG's Legoland Event.

First of all, thank you for all these hints, I used them and it worked! Look what the easter bunny has brought be Ok, I riveted nearly all parts today (my rivets are too short for the belt...) and tried to do some strapping concerning the thighs. I would say, the length is ok, the thighs just need no be rotated a bit. (I saw that kidney plate popping out again... looks like I forgot one side) That's all for now, I wish you a Happy Easter(monday)!

Another day and another set of pictures: On this set I am - not wearing boots - nor my neckseal - the shoulders are not positioned right - the elastic between cod and butt is not attached yet Maybe you understand my problem better now: Because I am quite skinny, the chest slips under the kidney plate because it overlaps the abdomen, as you can see in the photos. Closing the belt does not fix this problem, even though I am not wearing it in the photos.

Ok, ok I will wear it next time. As already said, I am a bit confused today, so it looks more dumb as I really am. I will do it again with a clear head tomorrow. Sorry for that.
