dummy rail, what do you guys think?

whats the correct placement of the scope? there are so many variations... i also read that the high between the rail are around 5-6 mm. Is the bend on the rail(ironsight) also a must?

i will apply some weathering when its assembled, but minimal. Also thinking about some applying high gloss clear paint to the trigger-stock.

Replaced the pins on the side, i felt that they where not distinguish enough. I wanted to hollow out the end of the end a bit more.

Scope paint and weathering done, done drill out the front and back and insert some acrylic glass.

for me this paint is utter crap, don't bye it.

Test fitting the charging handle, seems like i have to build up the charging rod, so it comes closer to the surface.

Did some more work today. Lots of sanding and drilling. The alanshead bolds needs some black color before i screw/glue them in .

Thanks a lot, love your work. Ordered myself the full kit from doopys. Its there anything special that i need to make for this kit that is not include.(besides screw/wires) Must the ammo counter also installed fort a 501st approval.

can you describe some of the paint Technics you use, for the weathering and the highlight, maybe link to some videos if you have. I really like what you have done with the paint job
