  11. This is very good info, thanks a lot. Will read your info and check it out. Getting "The Complete Saga" on blue ray next month. Maybe there are some better pictures there.
  12. working on making that "sight" from plexi and paint in the same colors and weathering as the scope.
  13. interesting. :-) been skipping frames on ANH, this scope is all over. Lots stormtroopers are using this scope with that little "sight" ontop
  14. Some more ref pictures, seem there are some copper on this scope, if you look at the scratches. maybe they the made resin ones and painted them copper with black finish. If the some of the M19 is resin cast they should be similar in shape.
  15. need some help on the details for this gun, anyone got some better ref pictures. Had that little iron sigh ontop the M19 been confirmed as a t-track? Alignment on scope and hengsler? The bracket some to be curved and not in a straight line. Seem liike there is some red wires and some webbed sleeving going from hegsler to power cylinder.

  17. real M19 (1942) acquired :-) and some old red wire, just need sleeving
  18. They used something called Systoflex(hard to find) on the powercylinders(thanks Andy), so I'm going to chech out some modern waxed woven sleeving Im going to order something like this and see..
  19. Anyone know what kind of wire that is on that gun(between henglser and power-cylinders), seems it as some some kind of fabric wire kinda like this...
  20. or you can do hammered finish(silver) with some light sanding and black ontop of that
