  1. I often read your posts. Thanks. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
  2. 15 mm cover strips aren't adequate in my case, but yes I've tried to look further at your pics.
  3. I'm also on my AP build and , though I have looked at a number of pics, the answer isn't as clear as I would have thought. I've ended up leaving a little return edge both in and out. On the AP, the outer inferior bicep mold doesn't allow for much return. There just isn't much plastic there. Anyhow, I moved on. I am worried that my biceps are too snug though. I'm even more worried about my 9 year old's fit.
  4. I had intended to use 7/8 cover strips for biceps, but that will be quite snug considering the side I just cut down. I may go to a full inch. Did the original stormtroopers have small biceps / triceps?
  5. I tried to PM you but it didn't work. For my biceps on my AP armor, it appears they come in one piece. Not seeing any further guidance on these, I plan to simply cut them at the deepest portion of the mold to separate the pieces. Am I missing something? Also , did you trim your upper biceps according to the tour armor or does it even matter? I plan on researching further the return edges, but I believe there should be some on the lower biceps or am I wrong? Thanks Scott
  6. Yes that was helpful. I eventualy found LadyinWhites build notes also and she advised there.
  7. I agree. Good info. I haven't over trimmed yet. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
  8. enchiladas and peanut butter. Eat some. I'm kidding. Hope you find a good solution.
  9. 1001 % huh? Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
  10. I make no pretensions. I'll use E6000 this week Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
  11. Hey perhaps it is mentioned above, but how large of a bottle of Angelus bottle would you suggest? I imagine this will be my task for the weekend of building. Also, I believe you said you used Angelus Finisher #600. Did you use high gloss or satin?
  12. I hope you're not suggesting bringing a death trooper around kids by the above statement. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
  13. Question - my build has begun - AP armor, ANH build. The cover strips I find are pretty wide, like well over an inch, whereas they should be closer to 5/8 or 15mm. I take it you cut these down. Or are there cover strips that either I'm missing or my son misplaced when he got everything out of the box? Good job by the way.
  14. Nice E11. Nice wallpaper. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

  16. We're spending embarrassing amounts up in here. Embarrassing. I just hope my wife doesn't get interested in getting a costume. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
  17. Though I did little to encourage the kids. I think they thought it looked fun, so here we are. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
  18. True enough Lady in White. We'll be beginning a nine year old TD build soon and my daughter will be Princess Leia for Halloween. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
