  1. I cannot see why the centurion ROTJ blaster should not have an open

cocking channel with a spring. the real thing does?

Yes, this confused me. Considering the lengths people go to get springs and stuff in there, to see a CRL pic that is filled in, was a suprise. Still, I guess whoever makes the CRLs knows what they are doing so as long as I stick to that, they can't really argue :)

  2. Hey there

Looking at my suit for EIB status and wanted to be clear on this CRL point:

Belt shall be between 2.25" (57mm) and 2.5" (64mm) wide, not 3"(90mm) as in ANH/ESB.

I assume (should never assume!) that refers to the material part of the belt only?

Yes, yes, it's an amusing mental image of me trimming down the hard bits but better to be safe..

    thanks

  3. Applying to yuor garrison is just joining a forum - how long that takes depends on the garrison I guess. Usually when you've completed your armour, you'll apply to your garrison for clearance AND to the 501st for a designation at the same time. For instance, I joined the UK Garrison then, when my armour was does I submitted my clearance pics to the UKG and my app to the 501st. They talk to each other and 3 weeks later, I was cleared and had my TK number.

  4. Thanks for the responses. Just to clear something up, so nothing gets out of hand - I am not in anyway suggesting the company, or Jim, are in any way unprofessional or trying to fob me off. I have a problem, as do others and regardless of how we fix it, the makers have been nothing but helpful to me from initial purchase right through to my mails and this post.

  5. I dont use superglue, I use e6000, and lots of it as it creates a rubberised encasement around the elastic. Having just had to rip some of this off my armour I can definetly say it isn't going to come off in a troop.

I also found it doesn't actually seep through, so I just use normal g clamps to hold it in place.

  6. I've always been very proud of my geeky / nerdy side and always been very open about it but, I suppose, I'm lucky in that most people don't perceive me that way initially. I'm as open about my fetish lifestyle, published erotica photography and my sexuality as I am about my comics and starwars figure collection.

I've always had the view that if I'm open about everything, the people that stay as my friends, are the worthwhile ones.
