Hi all,
I was hoping someone might be able to help me. I've had this rotj E-11 for a few years. It's a beautiful item, really nicely made, it seems to be a mix of metal and resin and it's very heavy - far heavier than, say, a doopydoos. I remember I paid a fair bit for it.
There are no identifying marks on it, but I'm wondering if anyone recognises anything about it?
Cheers

A group shot with CfO would be even better... given he probably produced all our kit!
-
How many of us are planning on attending Celebration Europe? It would be nice to try and get a group shot of ROTJ TKs...
Will certainly be there, though not sure what armour I'm taking. If I knew there was a definite meetup, would be well up for it.

Just found out, that according to our spiffy new members database..there are 31 of us cleared in the Legion!
a whole... um... 31...
0.o
Interestingly there's at least 2 new ROTJ build threads in the UKG, That'll double our numbers haha.
-
Is there a lot more now?
Looking forward to getting mine done to add to the numbers
There are three of us currently active in the UKG as far as I know, there may be more non-501st, I have no idea.

Keep meaning to sort myself out for EIB and Cent but... you know how it is...

I forgot all about this thread, I even posted in it... and now I have a Havoc Squad myself!

Welcome, and yes, CFO is the man for you

If score and snap isn't breaking on first bend, you just need to score a little deeper and then sandpaper. I don't think I've ever seen this tearout tbh and I've nearly finished 5 months of scoring and snapping on a (nonTK) project.
I'd be concerned about scoring both sides simply because, what happens if I dont get the cuts exact? That could get real messy.

Followed as tk1304

I can tell ROTJ from everything else because it's what I own and it's like being the ginger step child, the comments. I can't see any difference in any of the others though!
But to be honest, I don't really care either. So long as everyone's happy and having fun, that's all that matters.

Does anyone ever get the urge to come home after a long day and adorn the armour in the easy chair, you know with the pipe, news paper and slippers...
Nope, getting out of the armour is one of the best bits of a troop!
-
I feel like I'm too old at the end of every troop! (42)
But I still get home and sign up for more

Runners gloves are quite good, under your TK ones. Same material as under armour. Wash em after every troop, don't have to do anything fancy. My TK gloves don't smell at all, never needed cleaning.

A DD E11 cost about 40 quid, thats fair I thought given that it takes a couple of hours to build and then is ready to go.. if you are ANH.
And there;'s no debate about the ROTJ, it is what it is, I've got two.

Welcome, from the UK, get on the UKGarrison as well.
750 can get you a kit, easily. CfO is also UK based and arguably faster than most other supplies, so if you want to go ROTJ, he's your man.

Could you adopt me, please?
Currently building an ODST

I have both, the romfx is superior. it's also not that much more money if you get the "classic" model.
That said, the wait for a romfx can be...long. icomm, not so.
-
Welcome from another UK'er! You are definetly int he right place, but don't forget to sign up at the UK garrison as well
-
There's 3 (maybe 4, I'm not sure about the 4th) of us in the UK...

You can remove E6000. You won't be removing ABS glued with cement. If you aren't 1001% sure of placement and so on, use E6000.

No Ebay! Contact CFO on here, read all thread about no ebay!

That combo will work really well, the helmet does not have to match perfectly.
But don't do it, if you arent 100% sure you are happy with the mismatch, no matter small, as it'll eat at you - I know, my TB lid was "slightly" different to the armour and I hated, hated, hated it, repainted it all and in the end, sold it! But I'm like that
