  1. Amazing job man. This thread makes me want to invest money and time into improvements for my kit ...and for that I hate you
  2. Thanks Wyatt. I do need to figure something out in that area. I actually took the crown padding out so that the helmet comes down far enough for me to see. It seemed like a few of the folks I saw at SWCA had the no neck issue as well. I'll keep tinkering with it until it comes together.
  3. No offense taken Kevin. I can look at builds that I have spent months on and find dozens of imperfections and things that I don't like on them. There is tons of room for improvement on this kit and with it being a three week build and you being an expert on the subject, I'm not surprised you could make a laundry list of ways to make it better. Now that the deadline pressure is off, I'll keep plugging away at it.
  4. That makes sense in this case. If the LMO is going to get a slug of 50 applications right away and another 75 by the end of the year, there is no point making the approval process harder for them than it needs to be.
  5. Yeah no problem. Sorry for any issues I caused. I sent my GML a txt and told him the FISD folks are going to lynch me
  6. Its the rattlecan paint that Anovos recommended. Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover 2x Primer (WHITE) Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover 2x Ultra Cover Paint+Primer (WHITE GLOSS) Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover 2x Ultra Cover Paint+Primer (BLACK SEMI-GLOSS)
  7. I believe that was my costume. I sent some pictures to my GML for temp approval at local events and he ran it up the flagpole to the legion. Don't worry, they came back pretty quick and said no approvals until the CRL is done. https://flic.kr/s/aHskbPinHE
  8. That is a really pretty build. It makes mine look like polished turd. Well done!
  9. Thanks for all the support folks. I made a few internal strap changes and trooped it for the first time this weekend at Steel City Con, now its time to get some trading cards made!!
  10. Very cool show, I enjoyed that ...thanks
  11. Thank you very much Here's one you can use. Action Shot Roger that, I was not 100% sure about that, so I erred on the side of safety, I'll take care of it though!
  12. OK new shots were taken today with all of my fixes. Front Full Front Torso Left Full Left Torso Right Full Right Torso Back Full Back Torso Belt Detail Thigh Detail Obligatory Tray Impersonation
  13. Yes sir!! I talked to Mathias today and will likely be posting better front/side view shots tomorrow. Thanks for all of your advice FunkyT.
  14. I took in the biceps over the last couple days as well, I have to agree they look much better. I wish I would have done that from the start, because I REALLY didn't like the idea of breaking my armor Old and New Left Side View Right Front View
  15. Per Funkytrigger's advice, I made a few adjustments today. Thigh Ammo Belt - Before Thigh Ammo Belt - After Ammo Belt - Before Ammo Belt - After
  16. If any moderators can update the topic title to include "ANH Stunt", I'd appreciate it, I seem to have dropped the ball on that one.
  17. I'll take a look at some other pictures and adjust the ammo belt rounding and belt bevels. That should be a nice easy fix. Good tip on the biceps, chances of me hitting the gym are slim, so I might as well take them in alittle ...and maybe cover strip them in the process. I've never been 100% happy with how they looked, I just didnt know why ...now I do! Centurion was in my original plans, once I decided what weapon I wanted. The hasbro was a temprary, get to troopin' call. With the change to requiring cover strips in the works, I may or may not pursue it, though if i do it likely won't be for a while, after all that work, I'm ready for a break The velcro strapping was a temp to perm solution for me. I did most of the build including strapping without the help of someone to hold or move things for me. The velcro gave me the ability to make adjustments. Now that I'm confortable with how things go together, I may look at a more perminant solution. Thanks for all of the advice, this is my 1st full armored build and it was quite a process ...very different from the TIE Pilot
