1. What the heck. The weather was good so I painted the hengstler covers, scope, rail, cocking handle, end cap and power cylinders. All flat black.

I STILL need to make my hengstler bracket mount. I cannot find the l shaped aluminum in the right size nor the piece of sheer metal of sufficient gauge. Gonna have to go find a Lowes as home depot is sucking' it.

  2. Thanks Phillip, keep at it, nothing here in my build is original, just keep reading and trying to apply ideas to the kit. its hard at first, just like building the armour, but once you get some momentum and familiarity with the tools, it gets easier. That being said, mistakes will be and WERE made throughout the build. Some of which are easy to fix, some not so much, but hopefully no-one really notices ;) (my hasbro mod was a comedy of errors, but turned out ok in the end to get me to EIB). This blaster will be the one to get me into that next level.

I really wanted to get a Hyperfirm, oh lord that would be sweet, but getting one across the border here is beyond difficult, damn near impossible to legitimately do. So my next pet project will be either a SE-R14 or DLT-19 kit.

Blasters are fun distractions from the countless tweaks my armour needed or still needs.

  3. LOL you mean Canada Eric? :)

Well T4BP's original goal was to get its five founding members all approved and all to EiB. That was the purpose of forming the group. With even more new recruits in place, the "standard" is now EiB, I think it's somewhat an expectation that someday all of T4BP will be Centurions. I think a lot of it is the comraderie of the group, and working together while we build armour and learn together. Spreading the word and showing new recruits how to get there. We also have a lot to live up to within the Canadian Garrison. The expectation was set there as well from the begining that we'll all represent the best TK's possible for the CG.

    Amen to what Keith said.

  4. Your pictures are a little washed out because of the sunlight so it's hard to spot the more discrete details, but for centurion I'd suggest moving the detonator clips even further towards the end caps.

But you're not far from centurion at all! :)

I'll submit better photos for centurion. These were my application photos and I took a chance that they were sufficient for EiB.

I'll have a look at the TD clips.

Eric. The water in Indiana has moved up to Toronto. We have a bunch of new folks in the pipeline coming up!'
