  1. I will cut them down a bit and post pictures once they are done.
  2. well due to my height and my weight not much I can do about my cover strips. Being short and a little wide makes everything hard to fit in basically my thighs touch my shins all the time which makes it hard to walk in. Here are the pics of the belt. turns out the thermal detonator is a little over half a inch to long so i'll fix that. Cut some of the return edge off on the chest plate.
  3. Ya after trying different things I found my biceps were to tight. I am re gluing them to be larger so they wont pull down as much.
  4. Name: Antonio Zaragoza Garrison: 70th Explorers Armor: ATA Helmet: ATA Blaster: Doopydoos Height: 5'7" Weight: 195lbs Boots: TKboots Canvas Belt: TKittle Hand plates: Karin Neckseal: Darman Holster: Home made I ordered a more screen accurate holster. Thank you for your consideration!
  5. TK 58911 from 70th Explorers garrison requesting 501st access. Thanks you! http://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=15592
  6. Also want to thank everyone that replied to this thread. The community here is very helpful and brutally honest haha. Without everyone's help I'm sure I would have gone crazy. I've made new friends and hope to continue to make new ones. Now that I have a little experience I hope to contribute to the community.
  7. Well I turned in submission photos and now (while on vacation) I'm TK 58911! Soon as I get back from vacation I will submit for EIB and centurion.
  8. Ya I noticed that. After finally getting everything on I have some strapping issues to address. My chest rides kinda high and pops over my ab as well.
  9. My vent stencils bleed everywhere plus I think the lines look a little on the large size. Did I ever say I hate painting because I really do haha.
  10. My biceps are a little tight so it might be that. I'll also check the fabric store for some different elastic.
  11. Having a problem with the shoulder strap it keeps popping out from underneath the plastic strap. Any suggestions?
  12. Split rivets installed on ammo pack. Does this look alright?
  13. Thanks Pau!l Of all my build this was my biggest worry. After the thighs are done I just have to install knee ammo belt and finish painting the bucket. Already talked to my GML he lives close and has been giving me pointers I'm getting super excited that its almost done.
  14. How bout this for the back strip. I like it much better this way.
  15. since I am aiming for centurion will the wedge/triangle be approvable?
  16. So I lve gotten to my thighs and measured to cut my back cover strips. I used one inch front strips to keep it around average for the front. Well my actual thighs are 68centimeter so being a little short by the time I measured my covers for the back they are 10.5centimeters that pretty huge and it looks bad in my opinion. Only other thing (besides losing weight) is take off the front strips make larger one to shrink the back strips. Sadly I'm out of abs I have another sheet on order but its just gonna suck to do this all over. Suggestions?
