i think it would be possible to use them on a temporary basis until he is able to get TKboots. EI & Centurion would be out of the question tho.

it looks like they would pass after the elastic was dyed/painted white. if they are anything like the boots i have for my vader they would be made with vinyl instead of leather

I think a popular size is 1 inch for a majority of the strapping.

I believe almost everyone creates their own system. That way its customized to you. I do not know of any premade kits at all.

He doesn't take any money upfront, but I am sure if you ask him he would be willing to consider it. As for size I usually wear a 13 in regular shoes, even tho the tk boots run a bit bigger i prefer the extra room they give. I would suggest seeing if anyone in your area have a pair in a 10 or 11, to see if you could try theirs on, otherwise I would suggest getting the 11.

They are worth the wait. I did have to wait about 2 months for mine due to the size i needed, but every few weeks i would send a email to see how things were going & i would get a response back usually the same day.
