I think he meant 235

Yes, 235. Typo!

Is it blowing onto the mic? I would move one of those fans, the one on the right in the picture, back a little so it is not pointed directly at the mic... Have it blowing across your cheek on to the lens, to prevent fogging. Try other arrangements as well. I had to move mine a few times before I found the spot that worked best for me...

Where do you have the fans placed in your bucket? The placement of the fans can affect the noise level. Try moving them around to maximize the air on your lenses while avoiding your ears...

....wellll, that's still not been 100% cleared up yet mate.Al comments and observations regarding the incredible similarties to the RS Props suit have been ignored and little clarification from the makers as been forthcoming.....which is a shame.
Adam, best of luck with the build matey. Take it nice 'n' slow and before you know it you'll be out there trooping with the rest of us
.
Actually, the "similarities" come from being accurate based on screen used armor. Once you see the NE in person, any remaining suspicion will clear up pretty quickly. The scale of the NE vs RS is night and day. RS screen accurate in form and in size, while the NE is scaled up significantly. I am 6'0" 135lbs, and I would barely fit in to the RS if I was lucky. The NE is huge and will fit larger guys like me (and bigger!) or can be trimmed down for smaller troopers. One of my garrison mates is supposed to get his set of RS later this month, and we will take side-by-side pictures.

Woot!!
I'm on the Run #2 list. After 2 1/2 years in my current kit, I'm due for an upgrade. I still need to get an up close look, but this looks like it'll definitely be my next kit. Glad to see the accurate details (look at the ab plate!!) and to hear that it looks like it'll have plenty of room for us bigger guys.
If you have some time, you can come by my cesspool, er house and see mine Brian. Plus, I am hoping you'll be at the armor party later this month...

NICE! I just got mine today. I plan to get started tomorrow!
-
Got it. I took pics and I will start my Build thread tomorrow!
-
Yeah, UPS forgot to load the box on the truck yesterday, so I hope to see it today...
-
My kit was supposed to come today, but was left at the depot by UPS, so I will have to wait until tomorrow...
-
yup, wonky as they are meant to be!
-
Ward said it will be a little while before they do a run of black, and longer than that before red, but they are in the plans. I should receive my package Wednesday Afternoon, so look for my build thread then!
-
Andy, you are the MAN! Outstanding work! Can not wait for my set!

Do you have a link to seals direct where you ordered that?
-
Sorry, Yes. I am getting the NE. I should have it Wednesday! Pics to come!

Well, I finally saved up some $$$ and I ordered my BRAND SPANKIN' NEW NE ARMOR from TupperwareTK. I have a UPS # and I hope to see it by this time next week! So I will be getting to work on this thing as soon as it arrives. I will post picks of the unpacking once it arrives! Wish me luck!
Edited to add that I am getting NE not old AM

Yay. Can not wait to get mine!

Here is how I do mine:

See, I'm glad I bought mine last year when I thought I was going to paint them black. I ended up buying black ones and kept the white ones for later!

I DO NOT believe that NE is RS derived. Ward is a stand up guy and beyond reproach within his Garrison. ALL original screen used/made armor was made on the same molds so it stands to reason that a genuine attempt, by a talented sculptor, at replicating that armor could or would result in similar looks. However the NE armor is sized larger in scale overall, like the AM, while having the accuracy us bigger guys desire. I will proudly wear the NE once it is available.
Just my 2¢

All the Hasbro blasters are the same from the same injection molding dies.
