  1. Hi Mathias, I do have some droopy Doo resin parts. I honestly don't know what needs changing. I can see that the end of the folding stock is flat on the sides on mine so assume this is something you want changed? Anything else? I spend many hours looking over blaster images to get this as accurate as possible. I really do need some direct pointers to highlight the flaws please as I thought I had it right. I do want to get this CENTURION right though. Thanks Mat
  2. Thanks re the belt drop boxes. CHECK! Here are some close ups of the blaster. I found that many parts of the droopy Doo kit were very average (muzzle end for example) hence using some alternatives to make it look more realistic
  3. The glue is still soft so I can move them further if this is not enough. They are very close to the snaps now though. So glad I had that spare ammo belt on hand!! LIFE SAVER Any guidance on blaster would be greatly appreciated.
  4. As requested Drop boxes moved further apart: is this acceptable now?

  6. WOW! that's awesome! and super fast.... Thanks for your comments. I spent some time researching the position of the drop boxes and noticed that I have placed them further out than most. I placed them so the position was leaving them hanging in the sale position over the thighs as in the cardboard cutouts (see image above). Is this not right? Moving them further out would place them on the sides of my thighs.. Many parts on my blaster are Droopy Doo resin parts. Could you advise what parts are not acceptable on my blaster so I know what to do? I can provide more pics if required of specific areas.. Very true on the gun laws down here. I must say that it was a laugh at LAX when I bought this gun back to NZ. It went though the Xray and was pulled out and unpacked to be swabbed for explosive residue. I guess the guy thought it was real!! haha My friends bag had 8 proper guns in it any they didn't blink an eye at those

  9. Hi there, great thread and very helpful for my RT-Mod build. Especially the forearm issues and how you solved them. Could you please tell me what diameter and length your AB - KIDNEY split rivets are (mm is fine as I work in Metric too). Also where did you get them? I have searched for some time and after many hours come up with dead ends. Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers Mat
  10. Thanks Eric, good to know. I guess it can't hurt to have too much stuff than not enough aye? haha! I'll actually be doing two builds at once (RT-MOD and a Tray Nichols) so it will be an interesting comparision. I expect the RT-MOD to better fit me height-wise (6'3") but it may be too wide as I'm only 89Kgs (think that under 200 pounds??). Like you I have got all the extras to make it as best and accurate as possible. Even the DroopyDoos E-11 kit so your info on that has been fantastic too. I'll be sure to post pics of progress and show everyone the latest and greatest improvements from these two top makers Cheers Mat
  11. Hi Eric, First let me say what an awesome thread you have put together here on the RT-MOD armour. It shall be my 'Imperial bible' when my armour arrives in a few weeks. One question I have for you is that I see you purchased all the items (snaps/velcro/elastic etc) required to put the armour together even though some items like elastic and velcro are included in the kit. Being in New Zealand its a little hard to get the right stuff so I wanted to know if you used any of the construction bits that were included or were your items better suited? I see Rob is always away from his Email so I hoped you could help me with this query. I've been buying up large in anticipation on receiving the armour (similar to you by the looks ) and shipping from the USA is expensive so if I can avoid the purchase of un-needed items your answer will help a lot. Oh I'm hoping to go EIB or better with my build too if that makes any difference to your answer.... Regards Mat
