    Are you going to put the snaps on before you paint? If I had to do my set over, well on the next set of armor I get. I would leave painting to the end.

    Still blown away at how sharp this helmet is. Really dig how this helmet looks. Always had a soft spot for HDPE helmets

    To be honest, I havent figured out which is left or right. I just kinda through the armro together for that pic. I am going to try and work on it a bit more tomorrow. Finding time is the worst part of these build. If I had it my way I would be spending a lot more time on it. I will get some pics for ya tomorrow on the bicep piece.

    I think on the Luke Skywalker version was cut pretty high. Might check out some screen shots of that.

    Thanks Doug. First time using the Kyrlon indoor outdoor gloss white. Seems to work pretty good. Goes on really smooth. Looks to be a little brighter white than the rustoleum gloss white. Next I am going to try and paint all the details.

    Thanks man I cut out 1 1/2 inch squares. I think I used way to much glue.

    i sanded the area and used rubbing alcohol to clean it. Its on the chest plate.

    Anyone else run into the problem of burning a hole in the armor? I use to much glue on the snap. Looks like the glue ran into the metal snap and bingo. Kinda of have an idea how to fix it. Just seeing what others have done.

    Ran into a little bit of a snag. One of the snap plates I glued to the chest area burned a hole in the armor Used to much glue and touched the metal snap. I have a few ideas on how to fix it. The rest of the snaps I am just going to glue the corners.

    So frustrating when stores are out of product. Couldnt find the 24p pliers last night. I really want to try that vinyl plastic for the snap plates. Thought I saw a thread some where about using the vinyl.
