Well I was born in 79. I think I saw star war ep 4 the first time on video because of my uncle when I was 5 I think. Clearly remenber that after seeing it my parent bought a vcr I was hooked on the movies and was stunned buy the stormtroopers. Remember telling my mother i wanted to be one when i grew up. Bless her,pitty see never saw me becomming one.... Anyway star wars has been a part of my life ever since. I really hope new episodes will follow <_<

I'm playing a lot of games at the moment and cod4 is 1 of them. I can only go online with my ps3 and I only have cod4 on 360. A really cool game to play online is ghost recon advanced warfighter 2 witch i play a lot.

Keep the helmet man! It would be a shame tp break up the signed armor and helmet just to regain some $. Maybe in time it will be worth a hole lot more than you payed no! Anyway I hope you'll post some nicer pic when you received it.

If I understand correctly you can get an te2 in HIPS,ABS or HDPE and the Rustoleum woks best for the HIPS and ABS kits? maybe this topic could be made a sticky?

I used automotive paint on my first armor that was fiberglass,it was a pain in the *** to clean up the parts and its not even finished. When i painted the helmet in gloss white it didn't get 100% white,if you hold an styreen sheet next to it the helmet color was way off <_< after that i decieded to start but making a bust of the armor and try an complete as much of it that i could and made a sandtrooper out of it. The te2 I want to make is for display only,so I think the paint make no difference???? TK-4510: the te2 youre working on is made from TDPE or not?

Isn't UPS expensive for shipping some spraypaint cannes? And if USPS will ship the ground it would take about 6 to 8 weeks to get to belgium,no? Ether way the RUSTOLEUM paint is absolutly white and a musthave if i want to do an HDPE TE2 helmet. <_< It's really nice that when the time commes forum member will helpout a trooper in distress

This is an mighty fine tutorial,i've been watching this closely and with great impatience to see the endresult I'm waiting on an ap helmet kit an started saving for a hdpe te2 helmet now that i want to turn in an esb helmet. I hope i can get the same paint result like your's,good spraypaint is hard to find here in belgium and can not be compared to the rust-oleum finish. Can you buy rust-oleum white spraypaint online? Or maybe when the time comes someone on the forum can help me out for the spraypaint of that brand. Anyway keep up the good work and do you have a next project waiting?

well,for my part i'm getting married this summer. my fiance loves star wars! she loves the idea of a stormtooper on a mannquin in the living room. now i already have 2 sets of armor, the first set was a mistake to buy but i was a rookie. it was an fx but fiberglass not abs,its still not finished and its a sandtrooper. my other armor is an abs set thats nearly finished. after that i'm going to save up to buy an ap armor. for her its no problem as long as i stick to my monthly buget. but i think if i want an ap one the fx one my have to go. but i will see that later my advice is to introduce youre wife to the star wars world,if they understand it they may like it! if that doesnt work bribe them!
