Ah, the dining table...the workbench of the working man.....
I sure know how that feels!

Thank you all for the kind words and support, still got the biggest smile on my face, cheeks are starting to hurt.
I remember that feeling very well.
BTW- nice job creating the neck seal and holster yourself. I dont currently possess those skills.

I used hot glue with a little bit of super-strength velcro so that I could remove the padding if I need to.

This was a fun thread to read just to learn more about the differences between Stunt and Hero. Thanks to everyone who contributed!

Hey Joey- thanks so much for your service. I'm sure you get that a lot, so hopefully it doesn't get old hearing it.
This site has so much great information, it's incredible! I found that doing plenty of research before I started cutting was invaluable. Best of luck overseas and on your future build!

Very cool troop. The red body suit is a cool idea. Very festive!

Congratulations! I love the name and the patch looks cool.

Congratulations!

Blaster is sick! Love the functioning stock and lights.
+1. Sweet blaster, and nice job on your build. Congrats!

I too also enjoy reading the newsletters. I think the FISD brochure looks great and it's fun to see armor-build tips in the newsletter.

Nice job. Your build looks great! Welcome to EI.

Congrats! And nice job making the adjustments needed for approval with a great attitude.

Congrats- EIB and Centurion. Nice job!

I like the SWAT pose. And congrats on the build-- it looks sweet and the armor seems to fit great!

Keep at it! My Sith Acolyte is certainly taking longer than expected.

I used E6000 on my build and loved being able to easily wipe off excess glue as well as re-do a couple of cover strips that ended up being a little off.

I'm trying to think of a way to display mine on my armor box, I'm not sure how mounting a frame would go on a Stanley though.
I ended up getting the print to print it on label paper. It attached to my box easily, and now I am going to put clear packing tape over it.

The Imperial Cruiser.... in Los Angeles
Wow, I am LOVING that car! Is that a real license plate? I'm wondering how you got the TK helmet on there... a sticker?
-
(And...No. I'm not using this on the EIB page)
I love it! LOL. I'd definitely want that card in my collection.
-
And I also want to already thank you all, because without the free forum access and all the amazing tutos, tips, etc, available here, I would certainly have been discouraged before the beginning of the project .
Welcome! It's great that you are on the wait list for your chosen armor. That's exciting! I agree that the resources avaialble to us on this site are amazing. We certainly owe a great debt to those who came before us and contributed to this site.

I hate to be the one to crush a good story but no, that wasn't me
Damn, that's too bad! But welcome anyways! I like the emblem on your car- it looks really good there.
-
just laminate it and glue it on!
Great idea! I hadn't thought about putting it on my armor box, but that will look cool!
Guess now I need to get to a printer.

I am not a blaster expert, so I hope you can find the info you need. Best of luck on your build, and welcome!

You're certainly welcome. Trial and error is definitely something I am familiar with. For another build, my mom helped me make a sith robe and I think we ended up doing three or four sets of alterations before we were comfortable putting it together out of our "real" fabric
