A star destroyer is probably a bit more feasible.
Good point. Maybe we can start a new petition!

I guess they have different priorities.

I had this issue. I simply added a new snap directly forward of the old snap on the white elastic that held my shoulder bell in place. This fixed the problem for me. No more worrying about the shoulder bell rotating back!

Hi Sam, and welcome from a Golden Gate Garrison TK. Good luck with your upcoming build!

I agree with many of the comments posted... like being older means this hobby may be easier to afford, and that we are all young at heart. I am still fairly young (31) and I hope to troop for decades to come!

Trimmed or untrimmed is ultimately up to you. Untrimmed takes more time, but I've heard that people often have to trim armor to fit them even though they bought it "trimmed." That would probably depend on your body size and the body type the armor best fits. I am not a very hands on person, but I bought an untrimmed set and was proud to spend the time working on it.
You should email the armor makers directly. Some of them have waiting lists, so as soon as you decide on armor you should contact the maker.
EI and Centurion are awards that you can earn by meeting mroe detailed armor requirements. These requirements may take more time or more specific materials, but I am really proud that I made my recent ATA build to EI level. The CRL's include what your armor needs to have for Entry Level, EI, and Centurion.
I hope this helps you some. Best of luck!

This is a good looking build! I think people have already mentioned the small fixes that you could work on, but nice job! Good luck on your EIB.
On another note, I like all the diagrams that people are sharing. All of these images and pics are really helpful to troopers during builds.

Your helmet looks good! I think I may have also gotten a few spares in my ATA kit.

I don't have any experience in the military or any special advice for you, but I wish you the best of luck with your decision and your time in the service!

My 2 goals are:
1) Finish my Sith Acolyte. That build has been stalled for months but now I finally have all the armor so I can get started again..... at some point
2) Finish my Imperial Officer (staff)

Wow I think the light in my brain just turned on for stuff like this finally. I actually see what you guys are seeing now too.
Funny, I was thinking the exact same thing..... and my name is Keith too! Double irony?
... if only I were also a Centurion

Soooooo tempting. It's times like these that I really wish I was rich.
Maybe I can use the money I make teaching summer school for this project.

That is good news. Since the HWT always lacked sand....well.
I think TK has always been a better moniker for that costume.
x2. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.

Congrats on your EIB and Centurion. Your build looks really nice! I am sure you're really proud of all the work that you put into it.

This is a nice looking build- it seems to fit you really well! Congrats!

I want to commend you on your great attitude and willingness to take feedback. Nice job, and congrats!

You're looking good! I noticed your forearms seem to be rotated a bit far back. Have you attached them to the biceps? That helps keep mine in place.
-
It looks like you've been busy. Was it hard keeping all the little details from the different builds separate?
-
Looks good. Nice job!

Welcome aboard from Northern California! If LadyInWhite ends up having that armor party in January, it would be a great idea to attend. You'll be able to meet garrison members and pick up tons of tricks for your own build.
-
Best of luck with your AP build.
Happy Holidays!

C'mon applicants- get those pics sent in! We can do it!

Welcome to the FISD! I recently completed an ATA build and I was really happy with the results. Like others before me, I recommend you look at the reqs for EIB and Centurion. Getting EIB is fairly simple as long as you pay attention to a few specific details.
Best of luck!
