E-6000..... live and die by it
Absolutely! I should invest in that stuff!

I have to admit, I am a bit jealous!

I didn't have a heat gun so I used the hair dryer on my belt and thigh pack. It worked out fine, although I am sure a heat gun would'vebeen more efficient in terms of timing.

Looking good!
Sweet helmet bro....well done with the pics.
+1

Welcome aboard, and good luck with your build.
The pics of the brown box are exciting because it means your build is starting!
-
Your armor is coming along nicely- good job!
Seeing your pics with all of the clamps reminds me of my own build.

Welcome to the FISD, from one Keith to another!

Congrats and nice job! I like the hand painted decals and really enjoyed your willingness to listen to feedback and make changes. I wish my students were that eager for constructive feedback/criticism.
Again, nice job!

Great job! This build looks really nice and fits you well.

Hi Trooper- nice job on your ATA build! I wanted to pass on a piece of advice that I received on my ATA EIB build, and that was to decrease the size of your forearms so they aren't as big/ loose on your body. I was really pleased with how it turned out when I made this adjustment, and I think it could look good on your build too.
Again, nice job and good look on earning your EIB!

I like it!
This is not an inexpensive hobby, but the joys of building and trooping are certainly worth the costs!

Laptop upgrade or armor.... you made a good decision. Your armor will last longer!
Best of luck with your upcoming build, and make sure to do lots of research before you start trimming!

I never noticed any of this stuff. Thanks for posting-- fun thread to read!

Hope nobody bids.

Nice job making the suggested changes- your ATA is looking good. Congrats!

Congrats trooper! Earning your EIB is a great feeling!

Congrats on beginning your journey to being a TK! Like others before me have said, don't be afraid to ask questions!

Thanks to all who contributed to the newsletter!

okay I have the armor comming and they told me where to get most of the accessories but where do i go to find the detonator and blaster?
What type of armor did you get?
My ATA kit came with the white thermal detonator control panel/plate but I needed to buy some 2 inch diameter PVC pipe to complete it.

Not that I know anything about biker scouts, but yours looks cool! Welcome to the FISD!

Welcome! While you are waiting for replies, I recommend getting started on your research so that your upcoming build goes smoothly.

I had this problem recently with one of my calves, but I realized it was because my calve near the ankle was trimmed a bit too tight so when I moved my ankle bone was forcing it to shift. I am going to add a shim the width of my velcro strip to give myself a bit more wiggle room. I am hoping that will help.

Also I have been doing some more inquiring being that price is going to be a big factor for me. I have looked into ATA. I think that will be a more affordable option for me. Any thing I should know about ATA?
It looks like you and I might have similar builds- I am 6'0 and 150. I completed my ATA build last summer and I think it turned out really well.
Good luck on your decision. Here's a pic of my finished ATA...

I don't know if there are any official positions for people who aren't yet members. You should definitely contact your local garrison though, so that they can grant you access to some sections of their forum.
