I remember when the SinglePoint scopes came out, in use it puts a single dot on what you are viewing, good for fast shooting - my Dad has one. I think that end cap of the sight should be clear though from memory. The top 4x20mm scope can be picked up cheaply on ebay.

I thought that acrylic had better properties than bare ABS to withstand any discolouration? Has anyone had acrylic capped armour discolour?

ANH Hero TM Clearance submission pics
Baldenwonder replied to sharptrooper's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Hi Ade, I have moved onto trimming my armour now, I thought I'd leave the helmet for a bit as I'm tempted to take the stripes off and do them again. The TM armour is a work of art so I want to do it justice and do an awesome build. Work has gone bonkers busy so I'm itching to get building. You'll be trooping in no time -

Nice one Ade, it's looking awesome! Good luck with the clearance, although looking that no problem -
Original and Replica Prop Stormtrooper Belt
Baldenwonder replied to RS Prop Masters's topic in ANH (Stunt and Hero)
Thanks for posting those pics Robert, very interesting indeed! It does sound that the shiny satin could had been chosen to be used for the outside to match the shiny armour. To make belts and things sometimes you can stitch around the edge and then turn the object inside out and then press the item. This would then have no rough edges and no seams / stitching showing, maybe this is what was intended? Maybe they were riveted together before they were turned inside out by mistake or became too narrow? Or just grabbed all the material they had to try and ake them thicker? Just a thought... -

Cool I look forward to seeing the pics, I didn't want to criticise and cause any offence but thought just a little would be spot on Great to have the authentic straight off the set feel! -

Hi Stephen, looking cool! I have been trying to find much clearer pics of the helmet you are recreating but they are a bit fuzzy to see close up. But from what I can see It looks like it could do with a bit more off at the top. I found this thread a while back http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=16277 that may be interesting. -
This is great, with all the bad things and news in the world at the moment the kindness and generosity of you guys have really helped make something very special for Owen! Good on you!!!!

SDS Stunt trooper Helmet
Baldenwonder replied to jonl's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
The Stunt versions come with a numbered plaque so if anyone has bought one recently they may be able to let you know the number. It would probably be in the thousands as a guess as they have been making them since 2004. -

ANH Stunt and Hero eyes reference pix

Hi, thanks for posting those pics. It looks like they were cut out in a rush, so maybe having a few too many beers will help someone cut more screen accurate eyes?? -
Going to have to get a set
Baldenwonder replied to Marv's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Excellent - I was waiting for Lego to bring Stormtroopers back - they are expensive at the moment as they are not in any sets other than a single sandy in Lukes Landspeeder. Just noticed lego weathering detail and printed legs - very nice. I need to expand my garrison Infact I would very happy to just get these for Christmas (Thanksgiving) -
Hi, Sounds cool, would be great to see some pics of the mandolorian armour. You can see some really good pics on this site in the Centurion requests section - I'll start a build thread shortly too. Really helpful people on here and on the UK Garrison sites. I sold some fett armour to go toward the TK armour, I realised building a fett costume would take ages to get right and having the helmet signed helped put a stop to it :

Hi Damien, I agree with the guys above - I have some TM here ready to build and it is absolutely gorgeous - really glossy armour that's not only super accurate but will give you the option to troop if wanted in the future
