    Hey G,

I think Kev is onto something... you can still make that change, yah? :) Sorry I missed that.. I was all about getting a little more height added. :) Thanks, J

  2. Greetings,

I know the waiting list for RTMod is crazy.. past 2015. I have AP armor, but not sure what his waiting list is.

    Here's the contact list:

    http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/

What does "AOE" 4life mean? Just curious....

I've not been to this site, but it looks liek the right one for biker Scouts. http://bikerscout.net/

Waiting will get easier... most of us have waited. :)

  3. Holy cow guys! There is a LOT of information to search through. I've got my little list started of things I need to research. I'm trying to be patient. While I have a lot of it on good days, I have very little on other days. Specifically when I get a bug up my booty like building an awesome Stormtrooper suit. :-)

Any direction you can add to the list below would be VERY welcome and MUCH appreciated!

    Things to search:

    1) SEARCH FOR SIZING ISSUES WITH A STANDARD SIZED SUIT: I'm short for a Stormtrooper. But pretty average for a girl. I'm 5'6 and weigh in at...oh yeah I'm gonna tell you...145. I race mountain bikes so I'm fit. Sadly being fit has done nothing for my boobs. So I don't have to worry about not "fitting" in a Stormtrooper chest piece. Trust me. The "girls" will fit just fine!

    2) BUY A COMPLETED KIT OR START WITH A HELMET: Let me just say that given the opportunity, I will bite off WAY more than I can chew. It's just a fact of my life. I almost never give up and do finish what I started. But sometimes there is a major cost involved. I would really like that NOT to happen here. So I'm considering starting with a quality BUT cost effective (I ain't made of money!) helment kit. Only after I've 100% finished it am I allowed to purchase a suit kit. If I don't do this I'll run wild with scissors...as they say!

    3) HOOK UP WITH SOME LOCAL NERDS: I know they're out there I've seen you at our little Comic Con. ;-)

    Thanks

    Jen

    Hi there namesake!

    You're cracking me up!!! :)

You'll do just fine, and you're gonna look awesome in your TK.

I agree with what everybody has already said, but I usually agree anyway.

    Have a fun build!!!

    Cheers, - another Jenny

  4. I just got a replacement AB/Cod piece from AP for me, so I'll be updating my armor, then see if I switch my chest plate with Greg's chest plate... if that helps his chest choking issues. :)

I actually haven't compared the two chest pieces, yet.. but I'm hoping the AP chest is not as round as the RTMod. I'll post pics when I get that done.  For Greg's rotj Vader build we

have shin and shoulder armor, and ordered most everything except the helmet and cape... but are working on those.  :) Fun stuff!

  5. My name is Stuart, IG-5344 of the Carolina Garrison. I like being a gunner but now ready to become a Stormie. I plan to do ANH Stunt. I have already read about armor & thinking on RT-MOD. Glad to be here!

    Hi Stuart!

Feel free to email Rob at RTMod....  but a month ago I emailed them asking for my brother in law.. and he said to contact them in 2015.

:) They have so many orders that they cannot take any new ones. Maybe something has changed, and you'll want to know prices, but

it is probably going to be awhile.  I was lucky enough to get my hubby RT Mod in 2012, and it is awesome.  :)

  6. Hello!

Looks like you'll be with these guys/gals: http://www.501stner.com/

    Northeast Remnant :)

If you haven't already connected with them, you'll want to do that for armor parties or meet and greets.

Your family probably won't like this advice, BUT I sanded and put together all my armor inside... right on the carpet.

I vacuumed ALOT... after every sand / build session.  :) That's probably not a great idea, but it worked for me.

Don't be nervous - you can do it!!! Have lots of clamps and good magnets ready... or you can improvise.

There's alot of that around here!  Have fun and try not to cut yourself! Cheers! Jenny
