Raise the thighs up a bit, add drop boxes, move closer so we can troop together sometime. j/k on the last, but I think it's looking good. I hope you plan to go EI at some point down the line.
The paint on the chest & thighs don't look 100% symmetrical is the only thing I can really see.
Thanks for the tips. I also noticed how it isn't perfectly symmetrical in this pic, couldn't really see it before I put it all on. I will tape it off and try and fix that this weekend.

I think I have too many shoes...

Hey everyone,
Here is a pic that was taken a couple weeks ago; I have some more of the back that I will upload in just a bit. Aside from my left shoulder strap being a bit too long, do any of you see any major issues? I got my pauldron a few days after this was taken, so please disregard that. I don't have my thermal detonator made and put on my belt yet, but that shouldn't take too long. As for my flamethrower, it should be finished within the next week! (Thanks for the parts Mason)

Thanks everyone for your help

I used it with a new can of rustoleum professional and it held it extremely tight. There was no way that can could rotate or fall out no matter what i did while painting. It was really worth the 2 something bucks

Hey everyone,
This is probably old news and most of you know about it already, but I painted a helmet today, and while I was at walmart in the paint section I came across this product by Rustoleum: ------
It was 2.50, so I bought one. I have to say it makes painting a LOT easier and much more comfortable. Anyone else use one of these before?

I have one and only use it for netflix, and the occasional game of donkey kong or super mario. The new wii was announced last week, and looks pretty cool with the HD graphics. There is a video of a guy playing some sort of zelda tech demo on it, and I was certainly impressed.
Oh, and if you so inclined, its incredibly easy to mod the Wii to play backups with no worries about being banned.

So simple I didnt think about it. Thanks Charlie

Hello everyone,
I got my pauldron a couple weeks ago, and I have been having some issues. I have tried getting bends in it so it sits flush, but I am still having trouble wearing it. Is there a certain way I am supposed to put this thing on so it sits flush? I am mostly having problems with the part over my back sticking straight out rather than laying down.
Thanks for your help

You will need about 2-3 applications. The paint will get soft and can be rubbed off with a soft cloth. And wear gloves!
I read online that some people cover or put the items to be stripped in a bag to keep the fumes in. Is that necessary? Could I just spray it all over and let it sit without covering?
Thanks

Thanks everyone It seems to be working great.

Hey Terrell, its rustoleum enamel spray paint.
-
Hello everyone,
Do any of you have or know of a good method to strip enamel from HIPS? The paint can be scrapped off with my fingernail, but goo gone doesn't seem to be doing much.
Thanks

Hey everyone, I am working on a project and need some yellow lens material. What do you guys use, and does it come in yellow?
Thanks for your help

Thanks mason
Also, is it acceptable for me to make the gun shorter?

Hello everyone,
I am in the process of building a flamethrower to go with my incinerator and had a quick question. The CRL states that it: The flamethrower may be scratch built and based off of the images used in the video game. It should have a rifle body with a plasma bottle on the right side, plus a scope.
Does this mean that I simply needs to have the bottle on the right, a rifle body, and a scope and the rest I can do as I please? I am trying to make it accurate, but instead of having this piece on the front--------
Could I just have my slotted barrel extend to the end? I have no way of making that section that is raised off of the barrel. I just want to make sure I will be able to get approved with this gun and still make it like i want it (or how i can with my limited tools).
Thanks for your help,
Michael

Maybe my coffee hasn't it - but how to sign up for the raffle or is it a UK thing only? Alas, you guys are doing some awesome work!
I cant seem to find a way to enter either.

Does anyone know what most lens material is made of? The type of flexible plastic it is, is what I would like to know.
Thanks
:S Sorry for my misspelling in the title

Hey guys, i will be starting my tk build soon. But I am starting to stock pile a list of tuts, forum posts and pretty much anything I can find to help me out. I like in QLD in Australia, and it gets hot (Even hotter in the cons as they dont seem to have any functioning a/c). Someguys have said they have a vent in the top of there bucket so they have a fan blowing the face and a fan sucking from the back. Any idea on how this would work and where it would be placed?
I read somewhere on here about someone cutting out the back vents where the vertical black lines go, and putting fans on them.

Hey everyone,
We don't have any hobby shops here in town, but I was wondering if any of you have seen these sheets at any major chain stores (Lowes, Walmart, etc)
If need be I can drive the hour to the closest hobby shop, I am guessing they would probably have it but I wanted to try and save myself a trip.
Thanks
Incinerator. Do you see any issues?

Thanks guys!
In my original test fit, I was told to flip it like it is now. Which way should it be for the non action figure version?
Here is the original thread to show what i mean:
