  2. thanks very much gents!!! actually it's only AM shoulders and biceps...the rest is MonCals which is a TE I believe, used elastic white material to close up sides. The way the legs are feeling though I may have to use the AM legs too, armor biting the crap out of me!
  3. Hey all, Long ago I start an AM kit and then instead went with a new kit through MonCal, a shoulder surgery and recovery later and I am back in business. Just wanted to share my 99% compelte pics, still need to do some clean up on the 'armor bite' spots and tweek the fit, but all in all pretty pysched. Holding a droppy mod hasbro e-11, but have a droopy pipe buildin progress, and unfortunately I had to use AM Shoulders and biceps becaseu my arms dont damn big shoudlers!

  5. hey all, was searching, but getting all sorts of random results, is there a link to installing the lenses, trying to get them into my VT helemt and it was sort of .....not good....so I stopped and decided to research before I ruin the greens.
  6. Thanks Daetrin! The other troulbe spot for me is the butt and crotch plates, they just jump all over the place and pop out at the top.

  9. hey all, didn't post up pics becaseu I put a couple turns on the ear screws and the trim is snug as a bug now. Thanks though, if it gets to where it's falling out I am jsut gonna glue it.
  10. Yah, will post up tongiht when I get home.
  11. it's the trim that came with the VT, looks like the same trim TK-4510 sells.
  12. Working on a VT helmet, things are going great, but all snugged up and riveted the brow trim seems like it doesn't grip very tight against the brow plastic. Is it ok once the helmet is painted to tack it down in spots with a little glue? I don't see the need to pull it off once done, but wanted to hear some thoughts on this. thanks!
  13. mine showed yesterday, perfect pour! Now to cut the pipe and get to rocking!
  14. Mine's behind been waiting about 35 days, but contacted them and they are very professional, and with the bad weather in their chunk of the world I am willing to give it more time.

  16. my camera is a 12 megapixel and I am pretty good at taking phot's, why the heck can't I get a good shot of this shiney stuff?
  17. Started my thighs using panda's directions, works like a champ! Out of curiosity is everyone glueing the backs? I am thinking I can slide my foot through fine on finished product and jsut curious. Then wrapped up AM helmet, it's been ongoing for a while, and I just built it with what came with it versus screen sccurate since I am getting a new helmet anyhow. Juggling the three pieces is rough on a noob! :-p

  19. OK, did a bunch of trimming, fitting, and finishing edging (thanks panda works like a charm now), and put togeth my mid sectin strapping. I have very broad shoulders, and the top of the chest was a pain, I think I botched the straps and may need to buy a new set pop them off and try again, thoughts anyone? here we are, I think I have the sides on the back and chest plate right but please correct me if I haven't or need to tweak them. (the Tape Me is very handy for fitting)

  21. A little update, arms and bi's are curing, but I had to trim and even though I bought a sealing iron the finishing edge thing is going a little poorly so I need to hit up one of the experts in the finishing edge thread. Cut front crotch loose aka Panda's build, and have kidney setion assembled, chest and back are coming along but need some tips on perfect fitament before I trim any more than I have (see below) I want to thank all the people who have went before, I am jsut a happy little parrot doing what you guys have shown me! I did get to break out the duck-tape Mana-me what an awesome little tool for fitting when you are assembling solo!!! Any tips pointers or corrections are more than welcome!!! sorry in advance for the sucky flash! and my stormy has company while he is in the second b-room....
