  7. Would like to get up to EIB and have a few questions... Will the AM kit with the new helmet work (ANH hero)? If I do need a new bucket (stunt) can the belt pass with 4 rivet attachments? My blaster came from eBay unknown mfg....will it pass not knowing that? Would like to know this info before I get started.. Thanks, TMC
  8. I had better luck using the E6000 glue for most all the assm...I found it won't harm the ABS and can also be removed if you mess up...as I did (and you). I used the ABS cement on the helmet and reinforcement strips on the inside of the armor. Just my opinion. TMC
  9. Does anyone know about these kits? Reputable seller? http://cgi.ebay.com/Stormtrooper-Armor-Helmet-Star-Wars-A-New-Hope-VT-501st_W0QQitemZ250724292070QQcategoryZ60361QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4340.m263QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DSIC%26its%3DI%252BC%26itu%3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%26otn%3D10%26pmod%3D150522956964%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D5306554407722799862 TMC
  10. On the forearm I used an elastic strap attached to the bicep with snaps. I put a small piece of black foam on the inside to keep it centered on my forearm. The snaps make it so I can slide it on then attach it to the bicep. It seems to hold in place very well. TMC
  11. Just finished mine....Take your time and listen to what the guys on the forums say...They were all very helpful. The only hard part that I found was the helmet but I got through it. Though I am far from an expert you can ck out my build thread as I did build the same kit... http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=13369 TMC
  12. OK so here is the finished product....sound system is in, blaster holster attached, hovi mic tips, and finished the details. I'm feeling good about my first armor build....I am now known as TK4450... TMC
  13. Yes being a thin guy I had to do lots of trimming and sanding...Already trimmed the belt, will raise the boxes up. The helmet is large but the pictures do make it look worse than it is...I can move in it. A new helmet is next on my list but I do want to finish this one first...any suggestions on which on to get? Thanks for all the help and advise TMC
  14. Here is the first fitting so far....need to add some more details and a little more tweaking... TMC
  15. Thanks Panda...I know I messed up the tube stripes, new ones are on the way. Will fix the belt...Thanks for all the help (your build threads) you are the best... TMC
  16. The interior and exterior of the helmet. I used the guts of a baseball batting helmet...no just waiting to get the electronics and I can finish it up. TMC
  17. AB buttons painted with a mix of 5 min epoxy with tamiya acrlic paint for color. When it dries the paint is almost indestructible. TMC
  18. The bottom of the armor...it is assembled with snaps on the side and Velcro for the tops and bottom, all with elastic for movement. The belt was made by my girlfriend by sewing together 4 layers of white canvas. TMC
  19. Here is how I attached the thighs. A back support belt with elastic straps snapped to the belt and velcroed to the armor TMC
  20. The Shins and Thighs...E6000 and rare earth magnets. Seeing that I am a thin guy, 136lb wet it took alot of heat and trimming to fit me. TMC
