You have to remember this is 30 years later. In thirty years time, things are going to change. There is no way that the armor would have stayed the same. It would definitely have to be upgraded. If they kept it the same, it would not make sense. Oh, and they most likely won't change Vader since the last time we saw him, he died. It is supposed to be in a flash back scene which means it would have to be while he was alive. Now which version they go with, episode 3, 4, 5, or 6, who knows. Either way, it will be the Vader we all know and love.

It is my understanding that there is the one aerator tip on the left side as in the digital render, but not on the right as we see in the actual photo. This is from IndieRevolvers site: "The helmet is not symmetrical – there’s only one breather/vent on the bottom near the mouth, on his left side. The black “mouth†area under the white nose plate appears to be a cloth/mesh (which you can better see in the detail shot below). The eye lenses are still separate, but set into a black frame to connect them and give the illusion of one single piece." I think that will look really cool if this is true. I can't wait to get a set when one is ready. I better finish my ESB first though

I like how you rolled in your cover strips on your shins. It looks very clean. Did you just heat it and roll it?

I have to agree with Cristian. You have a pretty big gap between your shin armor and thigh armor. I think you will find that once everything is put together your thigh piece will not ride that high. I am 6' and had an FX armor in the past. I believe the sizing is somewhat similar, being that it is made by the same people, and I did not have to trim any off the thigh piece on the FX.

Thanks all. The scope is the Doopy Doo Resin one that came with the kit, painted using tips from everyone on here. I still have to do the white crayon trick for the writing on it though

Hey all, Just wanted to share my doopy doo that I just finished. I have a couple of minor mods to fix the attaching issues of the folding stock (nothing a couple of well hidden screws won't fix), but all in all, I am pretty pleased. Thanks to all the amazing builds on this sight. Without them I could not have completed mine. You all are amazing and I can only hope that mine can barely come close to all of yours.

From my understanding the chest is fine now, however the back would still need to be changed out. Mighty Tank says they are working on updating that mold as we speak.

Your definitely not crazy. I received the same thing (2 left shin pieces). Mighty Tank replied almost immediately to my e-mail, so I am confident we will be taken care of and this will get fixed ASAP. Just curious, has anyone out there received 2 right shins? Also, I am a little confused on the forearms. The way they clearly line up is the curved back with the 12 dimpled right front and the straighter back with the 11 dimpled left front. Is this correct? I thought the curved one was supposed to be on the left.

Any updates on this? How close are you to getting those PDF files completed? Awesome thread by the way.

Mighty Tank Told me today that there should not be any problem getting approved for EIB with the new AM. For Centurion he said the chest is fixed but the back is still being worked on. Any info here that says otherwise. Here is what he said: "They already allow EIB. The chest should allow centurion, but the back has not been modified yet. It's in the works."
