  1. Anyone working on an aluminum version of the aerator socket? Seems like a small, but worthwhile upgrade...
  2. Metal > plastic. I could see some accidental cracking just from holding it wrong.
  3. "Prototype depicted. Subject to change"... When you're picky about how your kit looks, especially with the many variations on a TK helmet, it makes you a bit leary. But a $350 kit and quickly be put together and sold off if it wasn't what you were hoping for. x3 construction markup for installing snaps/rivets/who knows what is kind of amazing too.
  4. I've seen the tutorial to make them. It'd cost me a lot less to buy a couple.
  5. Good call on the belt trim and the mic tips. I'll take all the help I can get.
  6. Still needed- mounting the blaster holster to the belt, cutting the butt plate, and shimming the side gaps.
  7. Got a good deal I couldn't pass up on an old FX TK, and thanks to this very helpful FX conversion thread: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/12478-howto-easily-make-your-fx-armor-eib-acceptable/ , I've been able to put in a few dollars and a few minutes here and there to make this a decent looking TK. Here's the suit before- And the story so far... First things first, out with that atrocious bobble head bucket! Went for Elumusic's newly created BX helmets (his work found here- http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/28271-bx-built-stormtrooper-helmets-finished-and-kits/ ) Swapping out the big black ab buttons for a set of VaderDave's Plastic -> Canvas belt *pop* *pop* That was easy... I also brought up the gap of the drop boxes to nearly nothing (with correct white elastic strapping), installed metal clips for the thermal detonator, and am working on installing an old fan/mic kit I've had for a while...
  8. Mine is still up for grabs, and not as scary/animated looking... (Predator not included)
  9. Same guy... I've got a potential buyer in Denmark at the moment... Wish I could tell you about it's origins, but it's pretty unmarked, and was a Christmas gift several years ago.
  10. Not only approvable, but up to EIB! http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?/topic/12478-HOWTO:-Easily-make-your-FX-Armor-EIB-acceptable
  11. As it is in the description, just figured I'd keep it generic. Does the addition of a few more buttons merit the premium price? Maybe it's the goggles?
  12. I dunno if an AT-ST lid is $750 good... http://www.ebay.com/itm/201160545356

    And again....

    The biker scout... wow
  14. Or over a year to assemble a few TK buckets....
  15. Thankfully it is mostly painted. Pretty sure resin mic tips- think resin would hold onto it too?
  16. Unfortunately I got a smokey bucket, and I'm allergic. I tried a few trips some offered- Plastic bag with a dryer sheet - several days, nope Place a box of baking soda inside - several days, nope Left outside to "air out" for a week - nope I tried wiping it down a bit, but I think it's more than just the "surface". I tried to wash the foam inside but will probably have to end up replacing it. Also the rubber door trim seems to have held onto the odor the most, so will probably swap that out as well if washing it doesn't work. The only other idea someone had was to try stuffing it in a plastic bag with a grapefruit, but I don't wanna waste a grapefruit. Just wondering if there were any other tips/tricks out there people had? Frebreze and the like just kinda "cover it up", but it's still there. Darn me and my sensitive nose...
  17. Same folks as TK Boots: "Thanks for watching our back! I appreciate this very much Oh yes, whenever we have a few extras I normally try to move them on ebay. Gosh, I sure dislike ebay though, they charge so much. Thanks again!" From the looks of it, plenty of size 11's in stock these days...
  18. Interesting, the price is close... maybe just a few more to offset the ebay costs? I shot tkboots and e-mail, cuz otherwise that is pretty blatant on the gear...
  19. I tried searching for anything on this seller, good or bad, looks good to me- a lot of stock gone through with positive feedback, fairish prices, and a variety of sizes- can anyone weigh in? http://www.ebay.com/...&_from=&_ipg=25
  20. He's at it again.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=260536084605
