  1. The FN Armor is clearly a new type of armor, with obvious differences from other inferior products. I don't see how this would be a recast.
  2. Good job guys, I'd like to look at this great work once I'm back home to Thailand.
  3. Here is a picture of my binders, that are non screen accurate. Problem with them is that the magnetic lock is too strong, so once you "arrest" someone, it's hard to set them free again. I'll try to post a tutorial on how to make them soon. Tom
  4. Thanks, but I'm afraid I still have to order. The only transportation we have from the port is with some van that take the crew to the White March mall and back. No detours. Taxi can't enter the port without a TWIX card. Going ashore is a real hustle for us foreign sailors, so I'll be sitting onboard waiting for the company agent to bring me the stuff I have ordered. Tom
  5. ^Nice, thanks for that info. Could you PM me your price? (And shipping costs to Baltimore). Do I need a tool to assemble them? How do you fix the snap to the small plastic (abs) piece? Thanks! Tom
  6. Hi all! Is there a seller for press studs here? I'm thinking about converting my FX TK from Velcro to snaps, so I'd need some heavy duty snaps. Thing is, I can't try to find a store for this in US, cos I will be arriving on the vessel that I work on, and we don't have any time for shopping. Other than Wal-Mart once in a while. Normally I order my things here and have them shipped to the port that we call. Thanks in advance! Tom of Finland (Thailand)
  7. Help... A while ago I saw some company selling undersuit + neckseal, lost the link... anybody know where this would be? Many thanks, Tom
  8. Finally I heard from Doopydoos. They had email breakdown, but obviously also phone breakdown. I'll order conv kit # 2 from them, see if I get it this time.
  9. ??? Am I the only one who has problems with Doopydoo's??? Ordered conversion kit 2 months ago, paid, nothing arrived. Emailed them, got a reply that they would investigate. Since then, I've heard nothing, sent them 6 more emails, called many times, nobody picks up. Came to an answering machine a few times. So far, this company is a joke to me. I'm happy to hear that you all have ordered from them and all is jolly good, but the topic of this thread was WHO ELSE than DD sell these conversion kits. Please avoid further posts like "I also ordered a kit from Doopydoos, just got it and I'm very happy." Thanks.
  10. Don't tell me 'Poopypoo's' is the only ones selling them. Looked around on Ebay but didn't find a complete conversion kit for the Hasbro blaster. Help.....pleeease... Thanks.... Tom
  11. Thanks guys, I'll look at Wally then during my next Stop in US. Nobody knows what a Dremel drill is in Thailand.
  12. Do they carry them? Or something similar? Thanks... Tom
  13. Great pics and good job with your TK! And you don't have a belly problem, don't worry. I like how glossy your armor is, looks great with the reflection in your green lens on the 2nd pic. Also, the shoulder straps are glued really flush to the chest plate, nice. I'll also use your pics as reference for my ANH TK, it's about 90% done now.
  14. Daaarn.....I used rivets on the shoulder straps. Will remove them, and fill the hole. But how to get the right paint color? Aaaaaa, big mistake!
  15. Hi all, I'm looking for a sound file. It's the "code" that the Imperial probe droid sends out after it has slammed into Hoth in ESB. You hear it a few times in the movie, before Han blasts the droid into pieces. Maybe some devoted fan has extracted it from a movie...? Thanks... Tom
  16. Thanks Derek, that sounds like a good way to do it. I'll give the U-stirrups a try. Good explanation mate!
  17. This sure sounds like a good way to do it, but I lost you there about halfway. Some pictures would be great to see...
  18. Hi, Where did you get this spongy material with adhesive on one side? I don't have anything inside my pieces, they tend to slide around a lot. Thanks mate. Tom
  19. Hi, I want to have the end caps of the detonator secured with those small strong magnets. Forgot the name of them. Has anybody done this? I'd love to see a picture on how you solved this. E6000-ing them to the lid and the inside of the tube i suppose. Thanks guys. Ps. Does Walmart sell E6000? I'll be on my ship in Maryland during xmas, need to get this 'king of glues'.
  20. Great looking armor there. Are the boots from Caboots? You have a good fit there with the calves over the boots, how did you solve that?
  21. I have the same problem, the boots get outside the plastic calves. Has anybody solved this? Some pics would be nice..
