  1. Thanks guys. Yes, I noticed the TD after I completely unsuited. My belt is sort of jacked up - held together with Velcro for now - but I'm going to build it properly and then maybe use a bit of Velcro just to hold it in place. I also had to trim about 2 inches off the bottom of the tree-trunk FX thighs, that's why the molding detail is so far to the inside of the leg instead of centered but there was no way around that one.
  2. Just completed my first ever set of white armor. The MR helmet needs a few more mods but I'm pretty happy with the rest of it. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks! Brandon
  3. Ok, thanks. I think I will leave it because I have elastic joining the chest/back at the bottom and I can see that pulling the back down into the lower back. Looks clean the way it is if not completely accurate.
  4. My FX back armor overlaps my lower back by a couple of inches and I've noticed this in other peoples' armor as well. But in ANH it looks like they're stacked with a visible gap between the two. What is the "proper" way to do this? Does having that gap give you a bit more flexibility? I suppose I could trim down my lower back if need be. Thanks, Brandon
  5. I don't think Rustoleum calls it this anymore. Can someone give me the correct grey (or as close to it as possible) for the helmet detailing? Thanks, Brandon
  6. That stuff looks great. I assume you just go over that with some acrylic gloss or something. I tried something called Kwik Seal high gloss white and it's way too soft - peels off easy with a fingernail.
  7. I know there has to be a seam but I'd like to minimize the appearance. Has anyone ever heard of running a very thin bead of white sealant (silicone or some other flexible, white sealant) down the seam of the glued side? I have fx armor and the asymmetry of the seams on the duplicate calves especially bothers me. Thanks, Brandon
