Hello from Germany, I started this project in November 2025 using a pre-loved MFX armor kit that was in rather poor condition. Several parts had to be repaired and reworked before final assembly. The original helmet was replaced with an RS Propmasters Stormtrooper Stunt Helmet (kit), which was built to match the armor as closely as possible. As I am a slim trooper, extensive resizing and fitting was required to achieve proper proportions and a clean overall look while staying within the CRL requirements. The armor build is now complete and fully wearable. With this thread, I am asking for a pre-approval to confirm that everything is on the right track before submitting for official approval. My goal is basic approval. Any feedback or suggestions for improvement are very welcome. Thank you for your time and support. Known issues: My buttplate overlapps the thigh, esp. on the left side. Long time no post! Never stopped working on it. BUT, just got notified by my GML that my TK is now approved! Guess I can now be TK/MW-12098. Next stop? Hoth

Looking good, your images are a little small, very hard to magnify to see details, larger size/resolution would be preferred. Watch the heights of your thighs, they don't appear to be the same levels Belt/abdomen on an angle. Forearm to wrist/handguards different gaps. Angled back plate, you may need tighter strapping. Thighs touching posterior plate, try adjusting thighs. Your shins could come down they are high on the boots. Detonator could be rotated slightly to see more of the O detail There is some velcro showing between the forearm and handplage Can't make out if you have a "Han" snap There are some areas on your blaster which appear to have print lines. For L2 and above, see what your GML requires. 3-D printed blasters can not contain visible print lines, and must be sanded smooth for a more realistic appearance. I don't see anything glaring that should hold you up for basic approval. Good luck, hope we see you approved soon

CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor, and please keep in mind that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. Looking at your back thighs section and rear armor, it looks like you could trim a little to avoid possible armor bytes when walking around. Reference Images The raised ridges should be aligned. A simple dressing issue easy to fix. The other leg looks perfect. Reference Images *************************************************** Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for our highest tier of approval. Because Centurion photos must show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Level 3 might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we are able to clearly see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Centurion level is all about accuracy, Your biceps looks a bit too wide for your forearms. They should be reduced in size slightly for a better fit for level 3. Reference Images  CRL L3: CRL L3: The top of the ABS ammo belt should sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical abdomen button panels. The belt should sit with the top of the ABS portion just above the bottom of the lowest button on the large ab button panel. This can easily be achieved with a bit of velcro between the belt and the abdominal armour to hold the belt up. Reference Images CRL L3: Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. The Left Drop Box is prfectly aligned, the right one is a bit too far in. Most Troopers use to add a bit of glue to the drop box elastic to keep them in place Reference Images CRL L3: The corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle that that meets the outer edge of the cloth belt. In my case with my RS props Armor I have fixed it by trimming the top section of the canvas belt just before the stitching line. Reference Images And that's all Trooper!
