I tested out the appliance white but it still wasn't bright white enough to match the "Apple product white" of the rest of the armor pieces. I have since enlisted the help of a local automotive paint supply company. They are going to do a scan of the old chest piece and create a custom paint code to match. I will be getting an aerosol can of the paint and 16oz in a separate can that I can thin and use with my airbrush for smaller touchups. Once I have the custom paint code I will post it here for anyone else to use in the future.

Hello from FL everyone, Several years ago, I received my FOTK kit from WTF, but life happened and I am just now getting around to building it. I recently joined the legion as a Jawa, but this is the first complex build I've done. I will be the only FOTK in my squad, so guidance is limited. I've completed the rough cutting and now I'm working on refining the edges. One thing I've noticed about my kit is that the forearms are far too long for me (I'm 5ft tall...yes I know I'll be the shortest Stormtrooper ever 🤦‍♀️). Does anyone have any advice on how to cut the forearms down to size? I'm assuming the only thing I can do is cut from the middle, and then fuse the two halves back together. If there's an easier way, I'm all ears! I didn't think to take a photo, and I'm at work right now, but I can upload one later if needed.

Although we have one as the CRL you can also use screen references, weathering is sometimes a hard thing to show in photos as I've found out previously.

I tried a little bit of the Novus #2 bottle, and I saw the tiniest bit of improvement. Will keep trying. So far, none of dish soap, IPA, hydrogen peroxide, or baking soda have worked I have not heard of T-cut, will look that up too, thanks!

Sometimes a softer polish will remove marks, if not you can compound polish then go over with a finer polish as that will bring back the shine. Locally we have a polish called T-cut, found that is a good mix of both a compound and polish, quite a few people mention Novus polish

I had something similar! I stored my armor in blue bags but the blue rubbed off and I thought it was ruined! What worked for me was Goo Gone and a paper towel with some scrubbing. Be careful though as even a paper towel can be abrasive. Don't use a sponge as that definitely scratched mine slightly in the areas that I tried it with. You can always just try Dawn soap and water with the paper towel as well. Just take your time as you''ll need to scrub for a while to remove the stain
