Mike Bassett
I have had my armour around a month now and have been reading as may posts as possable and its now time to bite the bullet and start the build but first a couple of questions...... Is it cannon to butt joint the front parts of the arms and legs and have strips/shims over the join? If this is correct. How wide do I cut the strips? Cheers Brothers and Sisters of the FISD. Sgt JB
I'm almost done trimming, and about to start assembly, and I was wondering the same thing, about the strip width that is.
SuperTrooper
I know there are metric measurements floating around here somewhere, but the US approximates are 5/8 inch arms, 7/8 inch for the legs, and 1 inch for the shin backs.
