The real holy grail would be to have a remote for it, or one of John's ears with switches. Ideally you could toggle an ear switch or use a chin switch to move between silence, FRS, amplifier, and bluetooth signal (e.g. mp3 player or cell phone). A second toggle to feed your microphone continuously or use a PTT in a glove.

 

And, have this 100% self contained in a helmet, with a BT from the PTT in the glove to your bucket.
