However, I was watching ANH this past weekend and the TK who stuns Leia at the beginning of the movie clearly has a static burst (or clicking) after he says "set for stun". Quote

I don't know that I've heard that clean TKs have no static burst... like you said, I do believe there are several instances in ANH where troopers storming Tantive IV had static burst as well as stormies on the jolly old Death Star. Peregrinus Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 All the Stormtroopers in ANH had static bursts, if I'm remembering right. I don't think we heard any 'Troopers besides the AT-AT Driver talk in ESB. And none of the Scouts or Stormtroopers in ROTJ had static bursts. It's not enumerated in the CRL, but my personal take would be that base standard can have it or not, ANH Elite should have it and ROTJ Elite shouldn't. --Jonah Quote
