ESB Armor - Was it painted?

Hi all,

 

So if I remember right the ESB helmets were repainted ANH stunt helmets, correct? Was the entire armor kit painted as well?

Most of the armour worn in ESB was recycled ANH armour.

Helmet details were modified and there was a Mark II helmet and armour as appearing in RoTJ. 

It must have come to a point that they didn't have enough complete undamaged sets left causing them to pull more parts and leading to the so-called mark II pieces.
