Research is the key with this hobby.

Lots of build threads to follow from others on this journey

https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/80-anh-build-threads/

You could also reach out to troopers in your area, you can search garrison's here https://www.501st.com/maps/

There is also the Gallery areas full of references https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/category/24-anh-tk-reference/

Great thread full of useful links https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/49412-all-in-one-tk-anh-stunt-index-of-resources-by-maskedvengeance/?do=findComment&comment=690980

Good luck and hope to see a build thread from you soon.

Welcome, Jacob, and great to have you here on the boards!  You didn't mention if the kit was purchased already built or in kit form.  If it is a kit, the dynamics of trimming it are different than if it's already put together.  Also, it would help a lot to know the maker.  All kit builds are pretty much standard, but some makers (armorers) have their own little nuances.

As Glen mentioned, starting your own build thread is the best way to go.  That way you can (and should) ask all the questions you want in your own space.  One thing that is crucial is to post photos.  That way, we can follow your progress and if you have any questions/issues we can better tailor the solutions.  I have a lot of help thread links beneath my signature below, but the one for posting pics can be found here.

You can do this, and we are here to help every step of the way!

Sorry for not responding faster. I bought the armor from a guy that purchased it from RS propmasters already assembled. He was the same height and build as me but he said it didn’t quite fully fit him either when he was trooping I can add a photo of how it looks on me currently
