Kagamaru[TK] Posted March 13, 2025 Report Posted March 13, 2025 I have a trooper in our garrison putting sandtrooper armor together. They thought the backplate looked too small on them and added shims like you would for the kidney wrap around. I was trying to give advice but haven’t seen this done anywhere. Would the advice be to remove the shims on the back and just let it be? I saw pictures of the test fit and it wasn’t too bad but definitely small. Any resources? Quote
JBar[TK] Posted March 13, 2025 Report Posted March 13, 2025 (edited) Edit: I missed you said backplate my gut reaction would be to remove the "shims" since I feel like it would overhaul the shape of the back plate. Do you have any pictures? Have you checked on the MEPD forums as well? Edited March 13, 2025 by JBar Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted March 13, 2025 Report Posted March 13, 2025 Seeing the issue would better help us to give some advice. At the end of the day though it is entirely up to your GML as they look after base approval, we only look after higher levels. You can also ask for help at MEPD Personally I have not seen anyone increase the backplate before, for larger troopers we advise looking at AM armor as it's the biggest out there. 1 Quote
