Assembly Materials Help (UK)

Recommended Posts

I've noticed most of the links are to US suppliers for assembly items (glue, velcro, etc)

Do any of the UK guys on here have good places to get

Industrial Strength Velcro Tape

E6000

Canvas Straps / Webbing

Helmet / Armour Padding

Cheers

Hi Kenny,

You can get velcro and webbing at John Lewis in the haberdashery dept

E6000 at this link ----- £4.99

Canvas straps, use Woolworths cheap brand luggage straps 99p

Helmet armor padding, I use high impact foam knee pads available from Ebay from £1.99 or a work clothing store etc.

:salute:

Mark.

You can get the first three items from B&Q stores...

For the glue, I've found their own brand Clear Plastic Glue does the job just right. Need about 3 tubes for a complete kit assembly though.

For the helmet padding... all you need is some knee pads as found in some Industrial overalls....these can be purchased separately. Possibly even find them in B&Q, but never had to look for them though.
