  1. I opted for an only slightly raised brow.
  2. Cheers, hope it won't be too long now and it will be finished and I can post some then (quickly assembled for Halloween) and now (modified since) shots of my whole outfit.
  3. Pictures along with what's been done to my MRCE bucket can be found here----------
  4. Ah yes the stock padding is rubbish and already gone and I've sprayed the inside Black I'll add some padding soon.
  5. Modified ears and frown, darker lenses, correct tube stripes, fill the frown gap and enjoy
  6. Wanted one I did not need to paint. Went MRCE in the end as money is tight at the moment.
  7. I've also looked into AP and TM. But at £42 I couldn't pass it up. Maybe one day I'll do a full build with a more accurate kit as I've been doing a lot of mods to my FX. Luckily this is one of my cheaper hobby's. lol.
  8. Cheers Nate, will come in handy. I ordered an MRCE the other day for just £42.99 from Play They are up to £69.99 today
  9. Cool could you PM me some costs, thanks.
  10. Cheers for that, anyone care to shed light on this?
  11. Isn't the TM stuff HIPS and requires painted?
  12. I'm only 5'8" and not broad shouldered so it would probably be fine. Any ideas on where to get one? Thanks
  13. Is it possible to source AP's in the UK?? Or would I get stung for tax? Also where can I source one. Cheers.
  14. I'm going to swap out my FX bucket for either an MRCE or an AP originally I'd just been thinking MRCE primarily because I don't want to have to paint it. But the AP is also ABS so wouldn't need painted. Which other buckets come in ABS?? How does the AP price compare to the MRCE?? Cheers
  15. Well anyone modded an MRCE without having to repaint it? Don't mind the other work involved but would rather not have to paint it, is it possible to fill the frown gap it white silicone to hide the join? Or a white setting epoxy maybe? Opinions please. Thanks
  16. Well I got down the steps for the outside shots but getting back in my house was a little more difficult
  17. Well I could perch on the arm of the couch last night but it was a task. When building the armour I could sit with the body parts on and I could sit with the thighs on but I never thought to try it with both on LOL Hopefully a little nip and tuck and I'll be able to be a little more comfortable.
  18. Well for my first time in armour I did not bad, lasted 4 hours. For next time I need to sort the thigh straps (they kept twisting round my leg) and trim the thighs and calf's a little to make sitting easier.
  19. I'll get myself down to B&Q for a look, Cheers. Got the E6000 from a popular auction site
  20. I've noticed most of the links are to US suppliers for assembly items (glue, velcro, etc) Do any of the UK guys on here have good places to get Industrial Strength Velcro Tape E6000 Canvas Straps / Webbing Helmet / Armour Padding Cheers Kenny
