However, have zero experience painting Aluminum so is there a recommended primer and paint I should use? gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted June 24, 2020 Report Share Posted June 24, 2020 I use industrial paints for props which seems to adhere a little better than other paints, you could use an etch primer, or even just give a light sand with some fine wet/dry sandpaper, it will help the paint adhere.
