Another of our screen heroes draws their career to a close.  I was lucky enough to meet him in May and it was clear then he wasn't going to be doing it long.

He is getting a bit frail.  I believe that if it were up to him, he would tour forever.  A nice guy and indeed, the dark lord.

Sad, but glad he made the best decision for himself and didn't feel forced (pun intended) to continue public appearances. Too many actors ( especially in the Star Trek series) continued to do appearances when it was hard to tell if they even knew where they were
