Cover strip size?

I got most of my armor rough cut and I'm getting ready to start sizing it. I got the ATA kit and the cover strip piece has sizes written on it. 

Arms 5/8 in

Legs 7/8 in

Back of shins 1 in

Just wanted to check if these sizes sound right before I start ripping them down?
