gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted May 21, 2017 Report Share Posted May 21, 2017 (edited) DSS TROOP REPORT EVENT: RSPCA Million Paws Walk LOCATION: Sir James Mitchell Park, South Perth DATE: 21st May 2017 TIME: 8:30 till 13:00 LANDSCAPE/WEATHER: Cloudy with Showers and a freezing wind TROOPERS: IC36367 - Luke - Verfolger ( With treacle the squad dog) TI86557 - Jason - Volksjager TK85421 - Glen - Gmrhodes13 DZ13310 - Liz - Liz TK51164 - Stuart -DV64 TD84001 - Tahlee - Tahlzy Wrangler: 84000 - Kevin - Darth Trooper Recruits: N/A Galactic Academy: N/A Rebel Legion: Yes x 3 (Sorry not sure who) REPORT: Was a cold winters day as we arrived at the park, ready to raise some money for the RSPCA at the annual Million paw walk. Q, Liz and I were first on the scene, gave a quick recon and quickly met up with the others before deciding to kit up. Once our point trooper arrived, escorted by squad dog Treacle, we made our way in and were quickly surrounded by the public eager for photo's. Q and his well behaved puppy, Empire, wowed the crowd and while the rain was patchy, a few of us patrolled the outer reaches posing for more photo's. At 11am the walk officially started and a small group of us went out to complete the walk (We definitely did the 5km walk, not just the 1km, I swear). Once back Luke entered the squad dog Treacle into the "Dog that looks most like it's owner" competition, which they promptly won. With the crowd starting to disperse the decision was made to call it a day.
