Wow lookin amazing!! Your ab plate is a little high though.

Probably be cuz the clamps are still holding my backplate at that moment and caused some errors lol... Will try it again tomorrow and see if it's any better ( after all it might also because I'm short...yikes!)

Lol edited that before i saw your reply, and according to wookiepedia the average height of a stormtrooper is about 5'6". So power to the shorties.

Wow great work! I've been working on my ANH conversion to TKC as well. I've got to finish painting up my last couple pieces and weather it up. I've got a WIP in the build threads section.

Do you have a picture of the completed fused kidney/butt plate?

I have an Anovos kit and was planning on doing the same conversion as you. My kidney and butt plates don't match up/align though, what did you do to remedy that on your kit?

I'm using the anovos kit for mine and I made a small cut on the kidney plate so that I could bend it out to match up with the butt plate and then fused it with CA glue and abs paste

I actually haven't started on my build quite yet. I've finished up the armor already and had it approved though! I'm still currently hunting for the trim before I start the modification process.

Thank for the help though! I checked your build thread out DayFire and it was really useful. I can't imagine how you managed to make the fusing process so neat and smooth.

It was a very tedious painstaking process. It actually took 3 of us two holding and one applying the CA glue and accelerator. I later reinforced the seam with abs paste on the inside. I got my trim from CFO. I ordered the trim and the belt components from him.

Most importantly, correct belt materials... Took me ages to figure out and replaced with firehose and riveted...

Hey there! The firehose I bought them from some local internet stores and they comes in all sizes and the price is quite cheap actually! All I had to do is to cut them up in the right width and sew em. I still got a whole roll of firehose left here lol...

Where did you get the "U" shaped trim and what material is it?

Contact Sskunky here on FISD or CfO- Cast from Original on facebook. He's the right guy for these ROtJ rubber trims!
